La Vie En Rose
Drops of tears fell onto the pale yellow sheet of wasted tree. The drops falling onto drying calligraphy. Turning the black ink into grey smudges. The soft sounds of the piano singing in the background. Giving into the depressing moment. Her hands scribbling away. Her heart pouring out through drops of water and black letters. Bricks on her shoulder lifted.
Leaving an empty space.
Leaving dust and memories.
Leaving stories once told and to be forgotten.
It was a day of goodbyes. A day where tears were shed. Shed away from the many eyes staring. Where the tears were freed behind closed doors. Where no one could see. There she cracked. Pieces of her shell falling out. Her emotions breaking free. And she cried. Tears she once thought had dried out, suddenly bringing back a raging river. Memories swarming through her head, reminding her of every moment. Every moment she had spent with you. You were her light. You were her, “La Vie En Rose.” You made her happy. Although her happiness brought pain to the ones around her, she was selfish. And continued to be happy while everything around her darkened and withered.
Only in the end will she look around her and notice the darkness and lifeless world she had created for herself. No more bright yellows and hues of orange and lovely limes. No more pinks and blues and sweet scents of Mother Nature. Only a black and white empty canvas. She had done to her world everything that had been done to her heart.
“If you’re not getting it perfect, life is still going to go around. The world still turns. It’s going to be OK. Tomorrow is a new day.” -Katy Mixon
Sayōnara.
Here it is again.
That same feeling.
The one where it feels like my heart it getting torn apart.
The feeling of loss
And brokenness.
Where water rises to my eye making them glossy.
That feeling during goodbyes.
You already know how great my hate is for this feeling this, moment.
Goodbye once again.
And I wish I could say that it was really just a see you later.
But It really isn’t. Because the truth is, I’ll probably never see you again.
Fade to Black
The soothing sound of the rain splattering against all that stands in its way. The powerful sound of thunder in the distance. The dark grey clouds giving way to the brightness excreted from the hidden rising sun. A breeze, one barely visible, barely noticeable floats through the numerous trees and bushes. Making their leaves rustle and sway like a slow dance. The sky cries as the day of its queen departure near. It's queen leaving the heart of the skies body. To never come back for three more long summers. The grey skies now in a battle with the light from the rising sun.
One Sky
Somewhere in the deep infinite darkness I hope you think of me, remember me, miss me? I never realized how much pain a goodbye could inflict onto a person. Now I know. Although my heart aches and yearns to be where you are. Wherever you are. In the darkness of the night? Or the light of the morning? I wish to be there. To think that we all live under the same big bipolar sky. Even when it seems like worlds apart, even when it seems like universes apart we still live and breathe under the same sky. I wonder... flying in the sky now, do you look up and think of me? Staring at the same sky when we're countries apart. Staring up at a forever blanket of darkness. Do you look for me?
We are just mere specks in the cosmos. We must all remember that.

Autumns Afternoon
An autumns afternoon where the oranges and reds coated the leaves of the trees. An autumns afternoon where there was no wind and the great lotus lake lay as powerful and elegant as always. Ready for those passing by to admire and bask in its beauty. An autumns afternoon where the great lotus lake was completely still. There was no wind that could break the stillness. Not even the frog who lazily hopped from lilypads could send ripples in the reflecting waters. It was an autumns afternoon where two humans in love were so close to each other. As if the moon and the sun had perfectly aligned.
