Do not use the website called Sci-Hub!

It lets people access scientific articles for free. This is dangerous. It helps the free flow of knowledge and reduces the competitive edge of all the people who worked really hard to have been born into a wealth.

Like, it’s literally a website where you can type in the DOI of an article and read it, without ever having to pay the publisher who exploited the author.

So, again, do not, under any circumstance, use Sci-Hub. I mean, can you imagine a world where knowledge is free and easily accessible to everyone? Even, y'know, poor people?

Libgen also has many books online, including textbooks, searchable by name, author, and ISBN. Can you imagine textbook companies not getting their hard-earned income from poor college students? Here is the link just so you make sure that you never accidentally stumble across this horrible, unethical website.

top surgery recovery has given me a lot of time to think, which is both epic and not. Been thinking a lot about past selves, past experiences, and how they all led up to me being the person I am today. I dont like the “I was born in the wrong body” rhetoric because I think it removes the agency for trans people to self-determination of our identities, nor do I like trans identities to be reduced to our bodies. I was that little girl, and I am not ashamed of her, nor was she ever my enemy. We do not have to reject our past selves to validated in our current selves, and I will continue to cherish the little girl in my head because she helped me become the person I am now <3

the reason why salmonella outbreaks in lettuce are so bad is because lettuce is always eaten raw.

Please don't pass stuff like this. Even if you assume you've cooked away every single bacteria in your skillet, the average person is cutting by hand, rinsing veggies without thinking of splashback, etc, leaving opportunity for cross contamination. It's really not worth shitting yourself to the hospital.
