[ ۩۞۩ ] – A tease, a fucking tease was what she was. She couldn’t seem to get it through her head that too much of something good would turn it into something sour and distasteful– something bound to make her wretch up all that she’d devoured as if it were poison.
And they would laugh when that happen. Laugh until they had to hold onto their gut for fear of keeling over either from lack of oxygen or the unlikely threat that such powerful laughter would rip their gut open completely.
( how incredibly ironic that they should think such a thing in retrospect of what the little beastie had planned for them! )
Amid all of the roiling, wrenching fear now wrapping itself about their veins and trying to force its way in, a wave of pride and disdain towards that one fatal expression of what they might as well assume was dismay crashed up and battered at their wall of already flimsy rationality. Could it possibly be that she was expecting prey that would snap their teeth back at her? Could it be that she was wanting an easy meal, one that wouldn’t kick and thrash about through action or venom-tipped words meant to pierce into her ego and tear it open in a similar fashion to the way her claws shredded whatever they were met with?
Could it be that she was just learning that not all food would stay down in her stomach where it belonged? Oh, they were going to have a wonderfultime with this.
“Oh, I’ve heard of foreplay alright– and quite frankly, my dear,” they sneered out the pet name in a much higher voice than they’d been using, hoping that she wouldn’t notice how it quaked a little, “….you’re asinexperienced as they come.”
Her snide comment about keeping their insults to themselves had no lasting impression on them. Yet neither did it spur them on. If anything, all it made them do was close their mouth into a slight little smirk that, sad to say, was only for the show they had so grandly been putting on this whole time. If they were going to be honest, the only thing keeping them from falling to their knees before her was the fact that this had happened before.
And, besides that, they were a toxin– not an exotic dish.
Before their mind could possibly process that single thought and spread it about their tense, shivering body in a warm blanket of assurance, they found themselves caught up in her oh-so mesmerizing movements. How flaky of her to put on such a display before preparing to eat them as sloppily as her build-up was; it was as though she was trying come up with her own interpretation of the dance of death where every single movement and step was completely, utterly wrong. It was enough to make bile rise in the back of their throat, to make them choke back the rancid vomit that had been threatening to heave itself up in a most degrading manner from how shocked and hollowed out their nerves had become ever since the whole ideal began.
She, at least, did them the favor of ending that particular struggle with that deadly, breath-taking slash of those hideous claws across their abdomen. It assured them that, for a flash of a moment before the pain seeped back in and recoiled with a burning slap that would resound through their very being, there would be no stomach for them to heave the contents from.
Hazel eyes now wide and glowing with distress and nauseating awe at such finesse rolled up to gaze unblinkingly at the sky that had begun to steadily fade in and out of focused vision. A sharp RINGING filled their ears, the taste of blood most vile filling their mouth along with the mustiness of dust and death. What else could be expected from such force? She must be beyond starving, seeing as they were now stumbling back, finally letting their knees give–
Impact with the ground wasn’t felt through the sheer force of which burning, raw agony tore through them, forcing out a choked cry from a blood filled mouth that sounded more like a hoarse whisper let out in the middle of the night after one has awoken from a terrifying dream.
IT HURTS, IT HURTS, IT HURTS– LET ME OUT LET ME OUT I DON’T WANT TO BE TORN APART AGAIN
They couldn’t make sense of their own thoughts, couldn’t even be sure they weren’t hoarsely whisper them as they felt theirself being turned inside out, an open dish on a silver platter, waiting to be snapped up and swallowed down as though they were nothing more than a one-course meal. They didn’t dare raise their head, didn’t dare stare down at their own innards– they had made that mistake the first time. Not this time. Not again.
Vaguely aware of her circling, Sovann held their breath, too terrified of the thought of slowing death down, and yet desperately wanting to prolong the agony of a fading life beneath the jaws of a hunter. Eye contact would not be made; that was too much for them. They refused to see the glee on her face, or any other such emotion she must surely feel.
They wouldn’t ruin her triumph. Instead, they would tilt their head back, bare their neck, what for the bite–
And wish they could howl about how unfair it was.
Her menacing grin had only grown when she heard the ever so distinctive sound of someone falling to their knees. She slowly stood from the bow and began to wonder why she didn’t courtesy instead.
Not that it mattered...
However...
May aswell put on a show.
But it wasn’t as if her crowd wasn’t being very respectful. No, infact they were being very disrespectful, very disrespectful indeed. Refusing to even gaze at her as she stood in an exaggerated sense of triumph. Why on earth did she think this would of gone any other way?
No praise for the violent psychopath that eats people arts.
However the discomfort sensation of butterflies still hadn’t faded from her stomach perhaps she was starving, although that would have yielded some more... Intense, results.
Deciding to ignore the slight irritation that was dormant poisoning, she greedily grabbed handfuls of their organs. Chuckling is mild admiration of the fact they were still awake. Their neck was on display, quite wonderfully, quite deliciously... Pitifully.
With a careless tear she shoved some of their freshly removed entrails into her mouth before grabbing onto their chin with her blood soaked hands, still searing hot to the touch, which forced them to face her if not look.
It wasn’t a pretty sight, her jagged teeth were slicing up about a foot of intestine sloppily, allowing some of it to distastefully escape her maw. She giggled in a childish manner at his anguish, spitting some of their blood onto their face as she tried to lock her eyes onto theirs.
She was still eating when she spoke, showing no manners or respect for the person who practically let her eat them. “Sho, arwe shou showin me yer’ neck becaws...” She stopped before swallowing the harshly lacerated organ she was attempting to grind to paste, allowing her to regain her composure and self-respect or whatever the equivalent was for sadistic cannibals.
“My apologies Sweet-Heart.” The word was emphasised far too much, it was obvious she was still toying with them, afterall she could’ve sworn that she heard them gag rather mildly. Perhaps they were squeamish. What an unfortunate situation, her mind jested. “I just couldn’t help myself. But as I was saying while enjoying the meal you oh-so lovingly prepared, are you showing me your neck so that I may give you a quick death?”
She chuckled and ran her soft hands across their neck, while still staring down with blood dripping from her mouth, whereas the heat wasn’t as intense it still wasn’t comforting. The grin was hidden- for now- as she cupped onto them. Sighing loudly as she chewed over their silent plea, it seemed for once she decided to show some amount of humanity, getting down onto her knees she squared up to their neck her eyes fixating back down to the ripped hole in his abdomen. Opening her jaws once again when out of their sight, she let herself breathe heavily on his exposed neck so that they would tense up at least a little.
She bit her jaws closed and kissed their neck with a cruel laugh.
Yanking their hair mercilessly, she showed her awful grin again as she made them face her. “No mercy, Dear.” Their eyes were looking awful dim, perhaps they wouldn’t be conscious for much longer. She ran a hand through their hair this time in a more loving less hateful fashion.
“You’ll pass out soon from shock, so don’t worry.” The light petting continued as did she. “Unless~ you’re particularly tough in which case... Well, I like ‘em struggling but I guess I wouldn’t know, seeing how, inexperienced, I supposedly am.” She chuckled again as she reached and yanked out another handful of organs, cramming them into her mouth as she spoke.
“Gotta shay, I wefspect shou... fer nawt shcreaming.” Once again she spat forwards various chunks of their flesh onto them as she rambled in a damn near incomprehensible way. She gulped audibly and chuckled. “Most of them are begging for mercy at this point or y’know... Dead.”
She went to grab another handful but-
The butterflies in her stomach...
They were beginning to SEAR.
Her vision became fuzzy, as if she were being switched to static as she reached her hands down. She hadn’t sustained any injury? What was causing this pain? She was dizzy extremely so.
Her stomach, oh gods, it was like magma was melting through her very being but even so she had got used to that, heat she could deal with this was something... Something she hadn’t felt before.... Or at least...
Something she hadn’t felt in a long time.
She dug her hands in, not realising her claws had retracted from the pain she was suffering as she forced them into her own flesh, whimpering as she felt the agony of her own efficient tools.
Wails were released as she fell to all fours, facing away from her prey which had indeed turned out to be the hunter and heaved with no grace. Gagging violently as her entire body convulsed in a desperate attempt to remove the poison from her system.
Where her claws had dug into herself, organs and blood was dripping out, however this was nothing normal, her blood looked to be molten, as if it were magma. Perhaps it was her body’s way of combating the poison, trying to burn it out.
It wasn’t pretty. Sobbing into the convulsions, it had been aeons since pain like this had overwhelmed her. It was thrilling, what’s life without mortality she thought at her body continued to panic.... And die? It continued its motions.
Expelling more and more of the tainted flesh.
