The Enigma of Amigara Fault

This short story by Junji Ito is about a fault that appears in Amigara mountain after an earthquake. The earthquake exposes countless human-shaped holes in the mountain which seem to have been made about a thousand years ago. People, intrigued by these  silhouettes, gather at the site and that’s when things get creepy.

Captions cover the spot on the screen you put the information I need

The dialogue is captioned but not the song you have playing that the dialogue is responding to

You only captioned the person on the screen, not the person off screen who is also talking

No captioning of critical sound effects (alarms, bells, dogs barking, etc)

Speakers are not labelled at moments where it is not clear on the screen who is talking.

It bothers me so much that the healthcare system relies so much on the patient's ability to advocate for themselves, organize their history, and be so persistent against every medical “professional” who says there’s nothing wrong/they can do. But so many struggle with fatigue, brain fog, and face such ingrained systemic barriers, that the people who need and deserve help and support can’t access it.

My goodness having to remember not only every single medication I've been on since late childhood but having to remember the pros & cons of each of them as well. What the fuck were yall doing that whole time I was talking about the meds & how they made me feel? You looked like you were taking notes - were you actually working on your grocery list instead?

I had a neurological problem so bad I was misdiagnosed with having a crippling mental disorder. They pumped me full of atypical anti psychotics from my pre teens to early twenties.
