A/N: I’m really sorry how long this took. I’m also sorry if this is a mess because I wrote it over the course of months but very spaced out so I think my thoughts on how to do this changed a lot
You lean back in your seat, arms crossed over your chest. You were in your school uniform, along with a thick coat, relishing that it was the last week of you needing to wear the outfit. The last three years of high school had been good to you: you and Seungmin had remained good friends off to Seoul University together, joining Chan. Chan. The name put a smile on your face, and you tipped back the contents of the can beside you.
“I wanted to leave on a good note,” Hyunjin said finally, a Cass beer can in his own hand. He had invited you out for fresh air and drinks, wanting only a bit of your time. To say Hyunjin was an enemy in your eyes was a lie. He was your first love, someone who held a gentle spot in your heart no matter what had happened. You two had spent the rest of high school being amiable but distant, and to Seungmin’s relief, it was never awkward. The wall was built too high now, but you were willing to reconsider. Just for you.
