I’ll be the one to say it since no one else is, and because I’m not involved much in fandom anymore (but still love tjlc and johnlock and follow it) so I’m not afraid of backlash:

(ps Jenny I appreciate what you’re trying to do with keeping the videos alive so nothing against you of course 💕 buuuuut)

Rebs worked hard on stealing the content of actual hard working tjlc meta writers, often without crediting them. Rebs worked hard on being a HUGE bully in the fandom. Rebs worked hard on taking money from people. Rebs worked hard on throwing an embarrassing tantrum after s4 and making it out to be a personal attack on themselves. The first taste I had of tjlc was through their videos and then through their blog where I saw massive amounts of elitism, clique minded bullying, harassment of people who were anything but lesbian (not to mention them claiming asexuality is fake), etc. This was all completely at odds with the friendly, welcoming, inclusive personal they gave off in the videos. Thank goodness I quickly found much better and kinder tjlcers - I can only wonder how many newcomers were scared off by Rebs. I've even heard they behaved in the exact same way to people IRL at Sherlock Seattle.

The one thing I will give Rebs credit for is presenting concise, well organized videos that made tjlc content more accessible to some people. Everything else, good riddance. I thought their behavior and hate was well known but apparently not. I'm just saying it'll be a good day if I never have to see any of that shite floating around again.
