Tosh and Owen are not a good couple.

Hear me out: Up to what we see of Tosh and Owen's relationship, I don't think I necessarily ship them at all. Owen clearly doesn't care for Tosh in the way that she cares for him. At least not at that point in time...

Near the very end of their story we see that change, ever so slightly. You watch it and you begin to wonder where they might go in future. They would not make a good couple now but they could in the future.

That's what makes them so devastating. They have no future together. The excitement of what they could be and where they could go. Their story hadn't begun.

They make me sob and cry. Not but I excessively ship them but through the narrative writing of Tosh and Owen it really makes you think of all the "what could have been" thoughts that naturally come along with death.
