The concept of a cold constructed cop is terrifying actually. They're literally built to enact the will of a ruling class that does not view them as people. The very purpose of their existence is to enforce the systems that exist to oppress them. Their value (or, worse, "return on investment") is judged in terms of how effectively they fulfill this purpose. How badly would that mess someone up mentally? What kind of deep rooted self hatred would be instilled in a poor spark born to this fate?
