Jessie’s pullstring/voicebox gets used. Some of the lines are:
- Friends forever, partner!
- Yee-haw!
- Giddyup there! Time’s a wastin’!
- I ain’t afraid of nothin’, partner!
- Yee-haw! Let’s play!
Toys freezing are instinctual, even without knowledge of being a toy, as proven by the Hi-Tech Buzzes:
But before he could continue, the watchman appeared, shining his flashlight. All the Buzzes instinctively froze in place, dropping to the ground.
Scanning the scattered toys with a beam of light, the watchman sighed, “I’m not cleanin’ that up.” Then he turned and walked away. Once he was gone, the Buzzes sat up and looked at one another, confused.
“Why did we...?” the lead Buzz asked.
“Freeze?” another Buzz asked, completing the sentence.
“Fascinating,” said another Buzz.
Slowly realizing what had just happened, various Buzzes spoke what they somehow understood to be true:
“Must.”
“Avoid.”
“Humans.”
“Affirmative.”
Buzz attempts throughout different points in the movie to propose to Jessie, practicing and also trying to ask her:
Jessie didn’t like the sound of this and turned toward Buzz for a second opinion. But she caught the space ranger off guard. He was down on one knee, practicing something, it seemed – but she wasn’t sure what.
“Deputy Buzz?” she asked.
“I do!” Buzz blurted out. “I mean –”
Blaze appears to be of Armenian descent, as her father uses anushig as a term of endearment
There will be a few playtimes similar to the beginning of Toy Story 3, with a realistic take on the kids’ imagination. Of these include:
- Forky and Karen Beverly’s wedding
- A ballroom spy scene with Jessie, Bullseye, and the Tech Trio (Smarty Pants, Snappy, and Atlas)
- Buzz and Jessie’s WEDDING
Bullseye apparently also TALKS in the mentioned ballroom spy playtime (any ideas who his voice actor might be??)
Confirmed by Tim Allen previously, but yes, Buzz and Jessie’s wedding IS going to happen, as a playtime by Bonnie and Blaze
Emily flashbacks and references are sprinkled throughout the movie, with probably more than one reanimated scene from Toy Story 2
Emily's name and address is written inside of Jessie's chaps
Emily was eight years old, and she was Jessie’s kid. With a bright, friendly face full of freckles, the little girl was busy writing something on the inside of Jessie’s riding chaps.
It was Emily’s name and address.
“There,” she said, looking at Jessie the cowgirl. “This way, I’ll never lose you.”
It is discovered that Emily had a daughter, who is named after Jessie!
Bullseye nosed an old picture in the lunch box, and Jessie picked it up. There was a woman in the photo pushing a young girl on the tire swing.
“... all grown-up.”
Jessie touched the face of the woman in the photo and looked at the girl.
“Wait,” she said as she turned the picture over. On the back there was some writing that said “To my little yodeling cowgirl! Love, Mom.” And beneath that, it said “Mom – Emily, Daughter – Jessie (10).”
“Emily name her daughter... after me,” Jessie gasped. “Really?”
Bullseye nodded, hugging Jessie as they looked at the picture.
Also, Buzz and Jessie DO share an onscreen kiss! Not sure if it’ll also happen during the actual wedding scene, but before that there is a moment they have where it happen as they temporarily part ways
But before they went, Buzz looked back and called to Jessie.
“I can’t lose you again! Just listen to me!” Buzz pleaded. “What I’ve been trying to ask you is... will you... will, will –”
No matter how he tried, Buzz couldn’t find the words. Somehow, this made him even more endearing to Jessie, who smiled as she pulled the space ranger close for a kiss.
The sheriff cupped Buzz’s chin with her hand and said, “You’re stuck with me, Deputy.”
And in addition to the Hi-Tech version of Buzz, there is apparently also a Hi-Tech version of Zurg
But then, a kid across the playground reached into his backpack and pulled out... a Hi-Tech Zurg!
“We meet again, my son,” came the villainous voice of Zurg.
“NO!!” Buzz answered.
With the excitement over Toy Story 5, and overall love for the Toy Story movies and characters, I thought of a way we can all collaborate to share that love!
I’m going to create a video from a fan’s point of view, of what the films meet to us as fans and how they have impacted our lives.

Showtime❗️The Walt Disney Company's CEO Josh D'Amaro announced that "The Incredibles 3" will open on theaters worldwide June 16, 2028.
“The Incredibles 3” will be directed by Peter Sohn (“Elemental”) and will be written and produced by Brad Bird. Sohn was chosen by Bird himself, as he worked with him on all his projects since “The Iron Giant” at Warner Bros Pictures. Animation.
Posting some art I did last year for my YouTube lyric videos of the songs from the movie. Say My Name, Karen is my most watched video (and I don't blame anyone, that song's a bop, lol)
(not to mention Woody's balding head asdfiasndihfghfhn) so thought I might share some Toy Story 5 predictions I'm having so far:
Sequence similar to "Strange Things" from the original Toy Story, but with Lilypad and Jessie instead of Woody and Buzz. Maybe the song can even make a comeback, but with slightly changed lyrics that are specific to Lilypad
Different small moments between Buzz and Jessie - comfort, hand-holding, hugs
Argument between Woody and Buzz at one point, to which Buzz calls Woody out for leaving in Toy Story 4
The Multi-Buzz (Buzz Lightyear army as it is officially referred to), before they come to understand they are toys, will see Jessie and think she is some sort of space queen and treat her as such (being that Buzz in any form - Demo, Play, Mini from "Small Fry" short - like her)
Jessie's hair coming fully loose, sort of like what was done for Fiona in her warrior look for Shrek Forever After
And Buzz having the wing-popping reaction to Jessie's new loose-hair look XD
Ducky and Bunny possibly having left the lost toys. They are not seen in the trailer, and I know they may have just not been in that one shot of the lost toys, but with the way they complained in 4 about having been stuck for 3 years with no owner and so excited to get one, they may have just went along with the lost toys for a while and then found their own home with a kid, leaving the lost toy gang as just Woody, Bo, Giggles, Duke, and the sheep
The Lost Toys in general being there for about 2 seconds of screentime (which in my book is actually ok being that the majority of the last movie shuffled the old gang off to the side). Maaaybe they'll come in as extra support during the last act of the movie
The ending being somewhat realistic. With the timeline of Toy Story, part 5 seems to be taking place at the latest the early 2010s, and as we can see in 2026 tech is still very much being used and prevalent. So in a way they sort of don't "win" against tech. Not sure what kind of resolution the toys will come to so that they are still happy
If Forky and his wife can kiss, and the rumored Buzz and Jessie wedding does happen, then we HAVE to see them kiss, too
BONUS if they do a callback to Toy Story 2, having Buzz say "Not in front of Woody!" and Jessie replying with "Let him LOOK" 😄
Might incorporate some of these into my predictions fic, linked below and going to be updating from now until May (haven't written anything in two years so may be a little rusty at first 😬)

prediction: Buzz is being hostile bc Woody got cocky being a lost toy and insists on handling outdoor missions himself despite Buzz having led a gang of toys across the city to rescue him in 2
AND/OR maybe Buzz does mess up a mission early in the film which leads Woody to believe he's not capable
this could possibly tie in with Buzz having some lingering resentment over Woody choosing Jessie over him to be the new "sheriff" of their toys, though a part of me really doubts this will even be an issue that will come up at all

the timeline still feels too early for modern tablets to be an issue for kids but I'm gonna have to let that go probably lol

Woody and Buzz will have an argument
Just seems kind of imminent with the way things are being set up, I feel like Buzz might mention about how Woody left and how part of him still has some kind of regret/resentment for that
