completely overhauled and extended

Finally finished this huge timesink of a project, I've made a couple of changes to my occult eye sets, which got broken a while ago bc of the fairies patch. Some rather extensive updates were needed, and I'm finally done, on top of also making occult addons + general fixes for all my maxis-match based eye sets. Hope you enjoy! 🤍
Oasis, Dazzling Light, Treasure, Waterdrop & Oxygen all have new addons for every single occult state (fairies!!!, mermaids, aliens, vampires, werewolves, ghosts + also the reaper reward eye)
I've also changed the way the files are sorted by numbering, been meaning to do that for a while bc it really bugged me. Anyway, you'll need to delete the old files from your game if you intend to replace them with these new ones as they're named differently. More info @ the download link.
They're fully compatible now with the way how occult eyes work with the latest patches, as in, occult eyes being enabled for regular human states for example.
+ a bunch of other fixes.

This is especially frustrating because the only reason we know the wind speed is because NOAA's Hurricane Hunters literally fly into the hurricane and collect vital data. They fly in and out of the storm over and over in 8 hour shifts.
This brave team flies two identical Lockheed P3s called Kermit and Miss Piggy.
You can see the dangling ornaments in the videos to determine which plane they are in.
And when I say they fly into the hurricane, I mean they fly *into* the hurricane.
Here they are in the eye of Milton.
And here they are in the eye of Irma.
As you may notice, this flight was in Kermit.
So the next time you see live data about a hurricane's wind speed and pressure, just remember how that was collected and don't be a giant turd about it.
And please vote because conservatives want to kill NOAA.

However, you can define your attraction however you want, or even just leave it without a label. It's okay to be confused, take your time and figure things out when you are ready.

What kind of attraction am I feeling?
It can be difficult to figure out exactly what we are feeling toward someone, especially since we can be feeling multiple types of attraction at the same time. To help you out, here are some things you might think about someone when feeling certain types of attraction.
Romantic attraction:
"I feel a physical magnetism to this person"
"I think about them all the time"
"I can't help but imagine a future with them"
"I fantasize about kissing them, marrying them, moving in with them, etc"
"I desire for them to be romantically involved with me"
"The feeling I have for them is distinctly different from how I feel about friends or family"
"I have physical reactions to them, like butterflies when I'm near them or an ache when they're away"
Sexual attraction
"I feel a physical magnetism to this person"
"I can't help but fantasize about being sexually close with them or imagining them naked"
"being near them arouses me a bit"
"I feel my loins react to their presence and I am extremely aware of how close they are to me"
"It's like everyone is in grayscale but this specific person is in full colour"
Platonic Attraction:
"I feel an emotional magnetism toward this person"
"I feel like we are on the same wavelength and I can easily understand them"
"I feel like we are vibing and it's easy to talk and share with them."

I have also learned this is great for [PICK A COOL NAME FOR A SHIP] and [LOOK UP THE FACTS ABOUT OXYGEN LEVELS] and [WHAT’S THE WORD] and [DOUBLECHECK CHARACTER’S EYE COLOR] and ALL KINDS OF THINGS.
Anything that isn’t critical in the moment, and could be filled in later while I’m currently trying to burn through writing pages that will be lost if I don’t get them out right now? Brackets.
This is seriously the best advice, and it really helps put it into perspective that the first draft is just that- a draft. There’s no reason to agonize over a particularly tricky bit of writing when you could just leave it in brackets and skip to the good parts, the parts you’ve visualized. I also use brackets for [fact-check this], [use a stronger verb], [is this in character?] and other notes as I write, just so I don’t forget what I want to work on when I go back and edit.
Note the good sense of [brackets] not (parentheses).
Parentheses AKA round brackets can appear in fiction, usually as an afterthought in a character's thoughts or narration (as I saw them used just recently), but square brackets hardly ever do.
