Sympathy.
“Are you trying to crush my chair again?” “Unfortunately, it's as tough as you are.” “When do you plan to start researches?” “Already started.” “And?” “Skin is kind of wet, pulse is rapid, pupils dilated... Preliminary diagnosis — it's sympathy.” “...don't flatter yourself.” “Of course, almost forgot: tough and stubborn.”

Young love. Escapade.
Just two firecrackers set off an explosion somewhere in the Upper City and are now fleeing from the Enforcers to kiss on the quiet rooftops until dawn.

Cuddles.
“Would you still love me if I were a venomous slug?” Jinx asked, breaking the comfortable silence. “Yes,” Silco answered without hesitation. She wrinkled her nose and let out a quiet ew, but he still noticed the fleeting gratitude in her lovely eyes.

Their doomed and rotted love.....😭😭😭
I recently had a dream in which Silco had to use a new formula of Shimmer due to worsening pain in his eye socket. Along with the stronger effect came the side effect of memory lapses. Although his relationship with Jinx had always been close, moments of true intimacy gradually faded from his memory. And, of course, Jinx was not pleased and took all measures to remind him. Despite his half-hearted attempts to resist, she sat on his lap and covered his face with soft kisses: his sharp nose, cast cheekbones, sunken cheeks and, of course, his thin lips. And to every "no" from him, she only promised: "that's it, one more and you'll definitely remember." And so every time — with hot, heartfelt promises on his lips, until his fingers touch her back the way it should be, until he truly remember her.
Snake's Bride AU.
Summer is the time to enjoy your favorite music. So I remembered a song that I once loved very much and after listening to it again I came up with an idea for this AU.
The song is called “Невеста полоза” (“The Snake's Bride”), performed by the russian folk-group “Мельница”.
Here is a link to the song and an amateur translation into English:
[Verse 1:] Oh, It’s not just dust crawling on the forest road, Oh, don’t go there, don’t get yourself in trouble, girl, Don't disturb the moment's mystery, turn away and Don’t look at the snakes get married. You didn't foresee, didn't hide your eyes from the trouble, It's only your fault, that now you'll be ours. There's a haze over the clearing, where the Serpent King's waiting, Now you are engaged to him. [Chorus х2:] Don't let me go, hold me, Lay me down on a silk sheets, Come and fondle me, Don't let me go for water alone, Go for water alone… [Verse 2:] I won't find the potion against snakes, I won't raise the golden of my eyes to you, Now I have a tan of scales, and with autumn heat I'm gonna go after snakes. I hear the voice of a King through the dust under the canopy, And see eyes full of hunger, golden's the half of his face, He calls me under, “Darling, come down, I will hug you in thirty-three circles”. [Chorus х4:] Don't let me go, hold me, Lay me down on a silk sheets, Come and fondle me, Don't let me go for water alone, Don't let me go for water alone, don't let me go for water alone, don't let me go for water alone, Don't let me go…
This song has a folklore background, a legend about a snake wedding. At the beginning of June, with the arrival of summer the earth warmed up well and snakes crawled out of their winter holes to look for a partner. Snakes rolled around the forest, arranging a wedding, become aggressive and may attack people.
The King of Snakes in Rus' was Poloz, he lived with his court underground and possessed countless treasures. In the spring, the snake kingdom crawled to the surface and looked for a bride for the King. The traditional Snake Holiday was June 12, on this day women were forbidden to leave the house, so as not to catch the eye of the King and not become his betrothed. And if some girl still went out to the well for water alone, and the Snake King liked her, then he sent her a gift: a gold ring, bracelet or necklace. Having picked up the King's gift, the girl could expect snake matchmakers, since she became the Bride of Poloz. People did not dare to refuse him, because in this case troubles and misfortunes awaited them. And in the fall, Poloz took his bride to the underground kingdom, where he descended with his court to spend the winter.
This is what the song is about: a girl who went to get water became an unwitting witness to the snake's wedding and the King liked her. Now she hears his voice and cannot resist the attraction, because her fate is predetermined — in the fall she will go to the underworld with the King. But, not daring to come to terms with her fate, she asks her beloved to hold her and not let her go.
And how could I not think of Jinx and Silco? Jinx, who never knew fear and did not like prohibitions, of course, disobeyed and, of course, got into trouble, having caught the eye of the King of Snakes! But was it she who got into trouble? Or was it Silco — the permanent King, who fell in love with an impudent girl at first sight and is now ready to lay the whole world at her feet? I think this story has a happy ending for both of them!
For almost a whole month with breaks for work and real life I worked on the images of Jinx and Silco for this AU. Here they are!
I created the image of the village girl Jinx from the images of slavic girls and the alternative Powder. And for the image of Jinx — The Snake's Bride — I put together Jinx from Arcane, Jinx from the League of Legends and the trends of medieval bandit outfits. I think she turned out great!
I based Silсo's snake form on the Amur racer. They are one of the largest snakes in the grass snake family. They are excellent swimmers and dexterous tree climbers. They are quite difficult to tame and can be aggressive, but Jinx will have no problem with that! The racers are also non-venomous, but when frightened they emit an unpleasant odor (yes, smoking is disgusting, mr. Silco). But instead of poison, Silco uses Shimmer in his snake form: he injects it into his palatine pockets, but does not always use it. Because of this, the Shimmer stagnates and is not excreted, but eats away at his own flesh, hence the scars on his face.

Safe place.
The original idea for this art came to me during a roleplaying game in which Silco continued to exist as a hallucination in Jinx's head. But unlike the others, he was a supportive figure for her: he helped her calm Mylo and Claggor down, brought order to her confused thoughts, was always ready to give advice and in especially difficult moments he searched her memory for happy moments, reminding her why she still lives. In return Jinx created a safe place for him somewhere in the depths of her own mind so that he could find peace too.
The card in his hand is a Jinx's memory of a happy day when she, Vi, Vander and the boys went to the Piltover Zoo. They snuck through the fence and Claggor won a stuffed rhino for Jinx.

Have you heard of the Grey Man?
“If you find yourself so deep that you can't see the sky, keep quiet — the Gray Man loves silence. And if you're unlucky, if an ominous figure follows you, or you hear a strained cough in the darkness — turn on the blue light and hope that your little legs are fast enough!”

Home.
The lock clicks dully, and Konig frowns, trying to turn the key in the keyhole as quietly as possible — he doesn’t want to disturb the silence which house greets him with. The lights in the living room are off, the windows are curtained, and the only source of light is the neon green display of a digital clock indicating that the time has already passed midnight. He was supposed to return the next morning, but was so eager to go home that managed to win several hours from the night.
Konig leaves his backpack by the door, takes off his jacket quietly and unlaces his boots, leaving it outside the threshold not wanting to bring dirt into your cozy house. A tiny shadow flashes around the corner, followed immediately by an excited meow. Look who is always the first to greet him! Konig grins, grabbing little cat flickering under his feet and pressing her to his chest:
“Shh, little one,” he hushes at her, scratching the soft fur between her pointed ears as the cat noisily sniffs his face. The cat purrs loudly, placing her paws on his chest and actively butting his chin with her forehead. He kisses the top of her head through the fabric of his hood: “Mhm, I missed you too.”
You took her from the town shelter two years ago to brighten up your loneliness when Konig been deployed, but it all ended with her and you now missing him together.
Without letting go of the cat and trying not to make the floorboards creak too much as he walks, Konig walks into the kitchen, turning on the tiny light above the stove. There are a couple of warm saucepans covered with a towel in the corner of the table. Konig leans over, lifts the towel and inhales the smell of home-cooked food with a contented sigh. You always make one of his favorite meals when he tells you he'll be home soon. Grabbing a spoon from the table, he scoops up still warm food into it and, not allowing the cat to reach forward with her deft paw, puts the spoon into his mouth. He closes his eyes with pleasured hum — this is exactly what home tastes like.
It takes him another half an hour to shower, shave, throw his uniform in the wash and change into his loungewear before he quietly opens the door to your shared bedroom. The room smells familiar of lavender fabric softener, it’s dark, but Konig’s eyes, already accustomed to the darkness, effortlessly recognize your silhouette on the bed. Konig chuckles to himself: you always sleep strictly on your half, leaving his half untouched, waiting for him. You only steal his blanket, but Konig doesn’t take offense at you for that.
He climbs into bed next to you and feels almost guilty when he has to pull out the edge of the blanket you tucked under your back. You have always been sensitive to cold and wrapped yourself in a blanket so tightly that not a single gust of cool air would reach your body. In your short telephone conversations you often mentioned that it was difficult to stay warm in bed without him. And this fact — that he was needed — warmed his soul every time.
No matter how hard he tries, with such an impressive figure his maneuvers do not go unnoticed. You grumble sleepily without lifting your head from the pillow, and roll onto your back to face him.
“Konig?”
Your hair is scattered across the pillow, there are marks on your cheeks from the folds of the pillowcase, and your voice sounds hoarse and tired, but from this picture Konig is overcome by such a wave of tenderness, homely warmth and comfort that his lips stretch into a smile on their own. The peace that he feels only at home, next to you, covers him completely. Konig makes himself more comfortable on the cool pillow and pulls you closer, wrapping his arms around your shoulders:
“I'm home, get back to sleep.”
You stubbornly open your eyes, squinting blindly, looking at his face.
“How are you?” you ask sleepily, not hiding your anxiety. Your lips leave many smeared kisses on his cheeks, and your cold palms stroke his shoulders and chest, wanting to see for yourself. “Okay? Not injured?”
“Just a couple of scratches, as always. Nothing serious.”
“Thank God... Good,” you hum contentedly, laying your head on his shoulder and hugging him across the waist. Your leg rests possessively on his thigh as you reflexively reach for your favorite source of warmth. The silence stretches, and Konig already decides that you have fallen asleep, when your cold nose pokes into his neck:
“You shaved.”
A quiet chuckle escapes him.
“And you told me not to show up at home with stubble.”
“I was joking,” you say sleepily, rubbing your nose against the soft spot under his jaw. “Or not...”
“Of course not,” he rolls his eyes, squeezing you a little tighter and kissing the top of your head.
The pillow on the side of his head sags under the weight of the cat, who has decided to join the family idyll. She curls up next to his head, immediately filling the room with quiet purr. Usually you're against letting a cat in your bed, but now, seeing how happy Konig is with both of you, you decide not to interfere.
He takes a deep breath and whispers more to himself than to anyone else:
“It's good to be home.”
You smile and hug him tighter, cause you always knew: when he says home, he means you.
