Totally Jersey (but not exclusive) things the Batfam definitely does from someone who lives in Jersey
Note: I haven’t read any Cass or Duke so if anything is off lmk— also this is just for fun feel free to debate lol
- Jason has a strong north accent, similar to slight Bronx accent
- Dick has the tiniest accent but it’s only when he says Dog or Water and nothing else but religiously tells people he has the accent
- Tim had the accent but lost it completely
- Jason’s bagel order is an everything bagel bacon egg and cheese with salt pepper ketchup (they know his order by heart)
- Added fact Jason chews with his mouth open
- Park Row is just the Newark airport area I don’t make the rules
- Tim orders a ham Swiss croissant
- Tim loves the boardwalk because he likes to play the rigged games but HATES the sand he’s anti-sand
- Has definitely had fried Oreos and threw up
- Damian gets his jersey pride after a year and a half— only he can hate jersey like a true jersian
- Damian refuses to use the word hoagie because “sandwich is perfectly fine.”
- Dick purposely uses Jimmys and pork roll to piss off Jason, until Jason accidentally uses Jimmy’s and has an aneurysm
- Growing up Dick went to Land of Make Believe for a whole week straight because of the giant toliet
- Wawa: Jason, Tim, Bruce
- Quickchek: Dick, Duke, Cass
- Both: Alfred, Dick (technically)
- Pizza causes fights so does bagels
- The go to is Italian food if Alfred can’t cook (or is dead)
- Jason will lose his mind if they miss their exit while someone is driving
- Dick is an ADM truther and probably goes on Sundays despite the blue laws (probably doesn’t understand blue laws tbh)
- He refuses to go up all the floors though so he ends up only staying for an hour and a half after hitting up Wetzles
- Dick doesn’t know how to pump his gas
- Once when he was too tired after patrolling he 100% pumped diesel into his bike and killed it
- Tim is the no.1 poser lookin without realizing, wired headphones, skateboard, layered clothes (oversized shirt over a long sleeved shirt, with baggy jeans)— he goes out to cafes like this just to order a coffee, they know him by name and order (based on a true experience)
- Probably wears thrasher (not based on a true experience)
- No central doesn’t exists
- Jason is pro-central Jersey
- Dick, Tim, and Duke all fight him on this
- Cass doesn’t care, (she sides with Jason)
- Duke 100% stops into the corner stores to buy an empanada and a drink
- Cass performs sometimes at the local bandshells for fun or just to relax, although somehow the theater or cheer team or marching band is always there
- you can’t escape them ong
I cant think of any more currently so that’s it for now lol
Also if you’re gunna write for any of them, people from Jersey don’t say, “New Jersey,” we say North or South Jersey (from experience)
