i have a thing called the supernatural curse where every time i pick it back up because i genuinely enjoy season 1-4, something a bit fucked up happens to me.

in 2023 when it started i was like wow what a great series. and then the roof of my house collapsed the same month.

in 2024 i did not touch the series because i had lived an earthquake on jan 1st. i figured it was enough bad luck. (i had a bad year)

in 2025 i watched one episode or two and then i got rejected from THE job i really wanted.

it's 2026 and my school year is over, however. i want to watch it so badly. like. season 1 was genuinely so fun to watch. but i have so much going on that i need to NOT fail. i'm very afraid that i will lose funding for my exchange year (already broke), that i will get fired (my manager cut my hours), or substantially worse.

and i think i have some form of OCD going on so you can understand why i'm hesitant to pick the show back up. but at the same time... monster of the week show good...
