happy opening, everyone!! ♡ this is luyi (they/them), i’m excited to be plotting and writing with everyone here! introducing my boy with some sort of saviour complex — jeong hwaryun! here is his profile.
he’s a 2nd year undergraduate majoring in medicine, a very friendly guy you can depend on. hwaryun is the perfect image of an ideal student who works hard and plays hard, surely there’s nothing more than that (≖ᴗ≖ ✿) though at the end of the day, hwaryun is generally a good person with a big heart. he’s optimistic, way too optimistic that it becomes a little bit questionable.
if you’d like to plot with him, like this post and i’ll be there in your dms! under the cut will be a short introduction alongside general plot ideas to kickstart some brain thinking (˶' ꒳ '˶)
— short introduction.
an illegitimate child with an estranged father. hwaryun’s mother raised him to be a good individual of society, but not with good intentions. she passed on during his teenage years, where he was taken in by an older couple.
hwaryun’s dream of becoming a doctor stems from his benevolence and innate desire to protect others; most of all, his mother was chronically ill and he felt helpless about it. he never wants to feel that way again.
your loveable older brother, best friend, first love, neighbourhood sweetheart, knight in shining armour… positive labels are always attached to him. ( his label here? the puppet master! wonder why. )
— plot ideas.
classmates, dormmates and the like: he gets along with anyone! he’s someone that people often brings up, and it’s hard to not notice him whenever he’s around with his charisma.
friends: drinking buddies, or gym buddies. he keeps himself fit and healthy. anything works! he’ll be a friend of all time and you can always count on him :]
he really likes media about heroes, knights and all that. he’s not shy about it either!
hwaryun may be smart, but he still takes time to process words. if you get all philosophical on him he may start blanking out.
sibling-like: gravitates to taking care of others, he likes doing this a lot but also does this unintentionally many a time… you are his next victim?
rivals: he will take you on, but if anything… hwaryun is more looking forward to becoming friends! he sees the good in everything. he’s not gullible by all means, he just prefers more peaceful relationships!
accidental romance: with how busy hwaryun is, he forgets about romance. sometimes he may come off as flirty and lead your muse on by accident… he’s a little dense. he’ll realise it eventually and apologise! unless it works out..?! (hint: it actually doesn’t!)
your muse caught onto his unintentional (?) manipulation!
these are only plot ideas, so if you have something in mind, hit me with it! we can work stuff out in dms ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ let’s plot!
the whole situation itself is a bit peculiar, sure. but in her defense, she didn't really expect hwaryun to go along with it. within the first few weeks, he was open to helping her figure out how she could put an end to her yaoi addiction. but along the way up until this exact moment, it was less about helping her with being somewhat normal... and somehow him just sort of being there watching her become a fan? it does feel nice to have someone else on campus to relax around, considering she feels like she has to put up a front to everyone around her. but it makes her wonder...
is this operation really going anywhere now? or is he just hanging out with her?? ... maybe she should ask this whenever she remembers to, because it is quite confusing.
she couldn't help but smile slightly at his comment about the cliffhanger. really, she doesn't think it's that much. this fic compard to her others in the past seems more... tame in terms of plot. granted, she's tried her best to avoid going into some of them because some of them were a little too explicit and she only read... one that was slightly angsty. even then, it does feel... nice to have someone actually interested in her hobbies, men kissing aside.
the smile slightly falters when he asks her the question. chasing your dreams... changing your majors... something you love. if she has to be honest, she's been thinking a lot about her future at yunhwa more recently. with the call she got from her mom about her dad working harder because of her to the same nightmares that she's had for a couple of years when the interest in BL continued to persist...
rather, it's not cheesy for her. it's more... complicated.
she shakes her head. "i mean, it's cheesy for gojo. because i feel like he's so good at everything and comes off super confident that creating this small problem would be kinda unnecessary. plus... i think i'm like. the polar opposite of him. in a way that...."
she hesitates, wondering if the words she's about to say even need to be said. it's not like hwaryun wants to listen about her whole dilemma right now—if there even is one. maybe she's just making this all up in her head. maybe she does have her life figured out. maybe she can tough it out through this... could she?
she lets out a sigh. "it's... weird. but either way, it's too late to change majors now. it'd just be a whole inconvenience to everyone," she forces out a laugh. "i mean, i like my major. i like learning about religions around the world and about the afterlife in different cultures. i feel like people will really be impressed with the knowledge i'm getting from this degree and all. my parents are already super proud of me for even getting here for my faith..."
she trails off, knowing that there's a "but" that wants to escape her lips. but she won't give such selfish desires that power.
changing majors isn’t something hwaryun often pondered about, considering how dead set he’s been on pursuing medicine since he was in middle school. he had thoughts of being a policeman, a firefighter—but ultimately, especially when reminded of his late mother’s condition, he decided to become a doctor. he’s never thought about anything else.
there were times when he’s tired, though. he’s only in his second year, but oftentimes the textbooks after textbooks, notes after notes… it’s so tiring. hwaryun’s already learnt how to drink americano by now to keep himself going, he wasn’t always the biggest fan of it. being stuck studying sure sucks, doesn’t it? so he pushes himself to participate in other activities: student government, clubs, hanging out with his friends… to let a little light into his life, and to remember how grateful he is, to have all these opportunities by his side.
“you can be great at everything, but at the end of the day… if what you are pursuing isn’t your happiness, isn’t it normal to push for that?” hwaryun scrolls through the previous chapters of sooha’s fanfiction on his phone. “i don’t really think it’s unnecessary y’know. if anything, he could be like… ‘haha i’m going to change my major and ace it~’, having confidence that he could easily adapt to another major — that sorta vibe?”
when it comes to sooha, hwaryun makes sure to place his phone aside as he listens to her, nodding every now and then when she speaks.
so it was related to sooha’s own worries, his hunch was right.
“by ‘everyone’… do you mean your family?” he asks. it’s usually a problem shared by a lot of students, perhaps forced to pursue something they did not truly have the heart to chase because of their parents. it wouldn’t be a surprise if it was true for the girl. “i don’t really believe in ‘it’s too late to change’,” hwaryun shakes his head. “you have a longer life up ahead of you. so in that way, you’re actually just starting something for your future. it’s kinda cruel how the education system forces young people like us to decide our careers when we haven’t lived enough to know what’s the best for ourselves.”
his eyebrows furrows lightly, seemingly distraught. “it’s what you like, sooha. and of course, it’s gonna get the people around you impressed—but is it something you love? something you see yourself doing until you’re old? something you won’t regret?”
spiders aren’t something that hwaryun likes very much. something about their legs, and their eyes? but this isn’t necessarily a fear, just something he’ll prefer to avoid. he’ll eventually overcome his fears and face them with courage. it’s just how he is, as a person.
like a dashing knight who would brave even a dragon’s fiery breath, he would even let himself be scorched by those flames just to save a stranger whose name he doesn’t know.
all life is precious, after all—except his.
it’s hard to tell. hwaryun seems to take care of himself well by making sure he eats and exercises enough, and giving himself some down time when he needs it. a work hard, play hard kind of person. behind that sincere smile is also a boy who thinks lowly of himself; he’s a child born from an affair. he’s never knew his father, and his mother had placed him on a pedestal all his life—only to point her fingers at him and tell him he was her regret.
he rationalises it by thinking that his mother wasn’t in a good head space, and doesn’t blames her for it. he tries to push the bad thoughts away and continues to uphold the ridiculous standards his mother had placed on his shoulders. in exchange for being a regret, he wants to make up for it by saving people’s lives. his mother could be watching over him as a spirit too! how should he disappoint her, if she’s watching?
hwaryun will be a good boy. even if he has to weave the threads to meld himself into situations where he would be useful, important. to be someone relied on; to be someone people would look up to and see as a role model; to be the first person people think of when they have troubles.
it’s not a want, it’s a need.
it’s not hurting anyone anyways, right?
he knows full well how selfish he is for this, and he despises himself for it. it’s not what a normal person should be thinking, but hwaryun couldn’t help it. it’s all he has.
so perhaps, some part of him—is afraid that people would find out this side of him.
"you approved of this yourself...?" touma repeats, as if he needed the words said aloud twice for it to make sense and properly register in his own head. actually, that's exactly what it is—who in the right mind would do that without a second thought? narrowing his eyes at hwaryun though, he supposes hwaryun would exactly be the type of person to do that. "sometimes i forget that you're in the student government and can actually oversee all the events on campus... you're, like, everywhere. it scares me." that last sentence was meant lightheartedly, of course. touma does wonder how hwaryun is able to juggle so many things at once.
touma's eyes glazes over the rest of the booth, looking at the other athletes, one in partcular currently comitting the holy act The Infamous Chokehold™ on another student, who seems more than willing, while another takes a picture to commerate the once-in-a-lifetime occasion. "is this some sort of breathplay thing?" he mumbles to himself, before returning his gaze back to hwaryun who is standing at attention like a dog waiting for his next instructions.
"well, i wouldn't pay you to kiss me, so..." he starts, briefly thinking about it and decides he isn't pathetic enough to stoop that low. "it's not you though, it's me. i'm not ready for that kind of commitment!" he jokes. plus, that's kind of intimate—not that he would admit that thought out loud. not a lot of people know that touma has little to no experience in the woes of romance and love.
he coughs up the 7,000 won, because why not, and he should be supporting campus business anyway... right? "if i pat your bicep three times it means i need air stat, so don't choke me for too long!" he reminds, sliding the cash across the booth like he's making a shady deal.
hwaryun presses his lips at that. ah yes, here we go again. you approved this yourself? touma isn’t the first person to be surprised or shocked from this. he knows that others probably thought he approved this without thinking much… the reality is that he wasn’t so keen on the idea in the first place. but things worked out, somehow. besides, he may be the student body president, but it doesn’t means he has absolute control over everything. “i get it… sometimes i’d wished i could split myself into two…” he jokes about. “or wish there would be 48 hours in a day…”
then he blinks confusedly at what touma says next. “breathplay…? you’re not entirely right, but i get what you’re trying to say. you usually have either air choke or blood choke when it comes to it, and in sports you’ll see the latter case more often. it compresses your carotid arteries or jugular veins instead of your airways…” he pauses for a bit, remembering his studies. “so not really?” he makes a mental note to check out breathplay for further reference, just in case!
the boy smiles cheekily when touma eventually gives the 7,000 won. “don’t worry! i get that kisses are intimate and all that, something you’d want to do with your partner you know? or a cute crush if you have one!” he winks at him as he records down the transaction swiftly. “oh! and thank you for supporting our service~ now, come here!”
he widens his arms with an even bigger smile on his lips, beckoning touma to come closer for The Infamous Chokehold™ from mister jeong hwaryun himself.
“i will take care of you, don’t worry. if you’re hurt in any way, i’ll refund you right out of my own pocket!”
what troubles lie in your heart?
reading to and analyzing with @knightguilt
"'the two stare, feeling a deeper sense of understanding each other than they did before,'" she reads carefully. "'for most of his time here, satoru was certain he had an idea of who suguru was. but knowing that the other student also had his reservations that he was keeping under the surface, it makes him wonder if there are more secrets that he wants to uncover. perhaps he, himself, is more interested in suguru's heart than his body.'"
sooha is used to reading aloud, but it wasn't really of... her writing. she supposes it's because she's more accustomed to reciting scriptures written by the prophets and apostles. even in her writing workshop classes, she found herself stuttering out of fear of judgment from her peers before they gave her their feedback. so to be reading her own fanfiction aloud... to the student body president, even, was a situation she would've never imagined herself in.
but the situation is a bit more complicated than that. one may think that she's absolutely intimidated by hwaryun, given his popularity and also his role as... her leader, essentially. and of course, she was a bit intimidated at first, even if he was very kind. but given his responsible record and also generous heart, she came to him with a favor of helping her get rid of her addiction to yaoi. and it was working, at first... but there was a shift somewhere that made her wonder if he was genuinely trying to help her get rid of it, or if she was just wasting his time without him complaining.
maybe it was when they were bingewatching alien stage in the 6th floor common area and he was crying his eyes out. who knows?
so, she is a bit alarmed over the fact that she's reading her uni au satosugu fic (not an explicit chapter, mind you! she has decency!) to him in her dorm. the concept of a boy in her dorm is already crazy enough, but reading fanfiction to anyone in her dorm was crazier. nonetheless, she doesn't want to do her worst when it comes to her favorite pairing. and so...
she closes her laptop, lets out a relieved sigh for being able to get through it, and looks down at him from her bed. "thoughts? prayers?" she asks. "to be honest, i don't know if i want to keep it at the fact that satoru is thinking of changing his major because of his conflicting thoughts with people expecting something from him. i feel like it'd be too... cheesy?" she scrunches her face as she says that. "i don't know. maybe i was just giving him the problem i'm facing so that i could actually finish the chapter instead of being more creative and thinking of something else."
a year ago if anyone told hwaryun he started reading fanfiction, he would believe it. but boys love fanfiction? it’s not that he’s unfamiliar with it, it’s just… a surprise. it also further cements his thoughts of: wow, boys can like boys after all? and i’m a boy… huh. he doesn’t thinks further than that, though. he’s never been one to think about his own romances.
maybe he did a little, when he watched round 6 of alien stage. but ever the usual, hwaryun shakes it off his head. the storytelling was just that good that it erupted some strange feelings from his chest!
what started out as hwaryun simply wanting to extend some help towards his friend, to curb sooha’s apparent addiction to the world of boys love—he’s now here, sitting with her, listening to satosugu fanfiction in her dorm. like what the hell, sure. though of course, he’s aware enough to not get too close, giving her some personal space while listening to this university alternate universe of the pairing.
otherwise it’s interesting, really! hwaryun is invested. he’s drinking his cold roasted barley tea while nodding every once in a while, making sure he doesn’t misses a beat of it. seeing smiles on his friends’ faces would make him smile too. he’s a simple person who’s easily satisfied by the happiness of the people around him.
when the chapter comes to an end inevitably, the first thing he does is to of course, praise his friend with a thumbs up! “so i’m left on a cliffhanger now? sheesh, now i’ll have to wait?” a lighthearted laugh comes after before he starts to think deeply about her words. it doesn’t slips past him when sooha mentions about potentially projecting her university problems on satoru.
he’s had a slight feeling about that ever since they’ve gotten closer; religious studies and yaoi, he’s no devoted christian but he does has braincells to connect them ( he’s underestimating himself, really ). though hwaryun’s never dared to ask. he wanted sooha to feel comfortable enough to bring it up to him if she wanted to.
“what’s cheesy about wanting to chase your dreams, sooha?” the boy tells her with a clear and gentle voice. “if it’s not too late to chase them, then i’d say changing your majors to pursue something you love is always worth it.” and he stops here, waiting to see what would sooha say to that.
sungha doesn’t want to be here. one way or another though, he finds himself trapped in a room full of drunk idiots who are slowly losing their sense of morality. there’s no escape from the inevitable, but sungha makes an attempt to retreat to the quietest corner at least, where he is only forced to make conversation with people who recognize him. unfortunately, being part of the student government comes with a wider social circle that he would like.
he doesn’t quite care about the taste of alcohol, tangy and heavy on his tongue. parties and gatherings are the only reason he’d consume though, he isn’t opposed to drinking it here and there—in small amounts, just to make small talk and blend in. he’s careful not to drink so much he would start losing control, but that seems to be everyone else’s plan.
one man in particular is making a fool of himself, causing a scene sungha would prefer not to bear witness to. he tries to steer clear from hwaryun’s orbit, someone like him is too bright it burns—too kind to be human, too selfless to function. and yet, here he is now, prancing towards sungha without a care in the world, grinning from ear-to-ear as if he isn’t half-naked and red all over from all the alcohol he shoved inside.
in wishing not to be involved, he is somehow dragged into hwaryun’s mess instead. what a stupid smile, sungha thinks as he finally addresses hwaryun’s presence, even though he’s returning it with his own calm and muted one. “you’re just saying that,” sungha replies, shaking his head as if he’s open to this annoying and irritating interaction.
hwaryun isn’t exactly a stranger. there’s a window of a memory in his mind, with hwaryun’s small hand over his own, his cheek undoubtedly purple and bruised. hwaryun worries, even though sungha feels no pain. it’s weird—sungha hadn’t been used to it, he can only be glad that hwaryun doesn’t seem to remember their brief exchange.
sungha wants nothing more than to walk away, but his responsibilities and public perception keeps him rooted where he stands. even worse, he’s extending a hand out to hwaryun, keeping the other boy stable. “haven’t you had too much to drink? i think it’s time to get you some water now.”
hwaryun stinks, smells of alcohol and sweat—but sungha still lets the idiot drape an arm around his shoulder, guiding hwaryun towards the water dispenser. “where did your shirt go? you should take that home with you.”
it’s dizzy, and hwaryun’s reaction time is getting slower. he blinks at sungha once, and then twice, before bursting into a hearty laughter as he takes another sip of the soju he was offering the boy earlier. “nooo? im tellinggg the truthh-!!” before he realises, sungha is assisting him in balancing himself to get… water? huh. why water? “why not more alcohol??” another blink, this time his eyebrows furrows, as if he couldn’t comprehend what he was saying.
he lets the boy bring him to the water dispenser anyways, letting out a loud sigh. “shirt? i dunno… in the laundry??” hwaryun’s steps are also slow and unsteady, but he keeps his gaze focused on the floor as he takes each step. somehow, he’s conscious enough to know not to fall over. “you could have my shirt if you want…” not the point, but the words of a drunken man has never made sense. his head is also starting to hurt a little, just a little.
when they arrived at the water dispenser, hwaryun makes a stupid attempt to straighten his back as if he’s got his life together ( he does, though. just not now! ). instead of grabbing a cup to fill up some water, he suddenly crosses his arms and stares at sungha once again, peering into him for whatever reason, tilting his head as if a different angle could help him look better.
hwaryun remembers their brief meeting as children, maybe he just wanted to see—if there’s any wounds on his face again.
“ahh… mmh… that’s good,” he nods to himself proudly. no injuries! otherwise he could dump his head into hot water to clear his head up… wait, no, a bucket of ice water! though, unbeknownst to the drunken boy… he started saying his thoughts out loud halfway through. “a bucket of ice water,” he announces, coming off as stupidly out of nowhere.
to whoever is watching this clown show—the sober hwaryun will apologise the next day.
dear my mother,
yeonchella event was a success! it was fun, even though it was super stressful. don't worry, my studies are still on the top. i've never let my student body or club responsibilities affect them. recently i've attended MT too, it was a nice change of pace. hiking the mountains was great! i took some pictures and printed them, they're behind this letter.
i'm ready to get back into studying already! the syllabus is getting harder, but it just means i have to work even harder to prove i can catch up with it. uncle and auntie are pretty proud of me! uncle's condition remains the same, it worries me a lot so i was thinking of paying them a quick visit soon. i'm sure that's what you wanted me to do too.
i'm doing a great job, am i? i'll make you proud and happy, as always. that's my responsibility too. i miss you a lot, i hope you're doing well up there!
jeong hwaryun.
but he can't send this letter to someone who's no longer around. so it sits somewhere in his drawer, neatly and untouched.
hwaryun isn't the type to scribble things down, he usually has it in his head. his late nights are often filled with studying, his president responsibilities, and even more studying. sometimes he'll have a fun party with his friends, or a nice gaming night if he feels like it. that's pretty much it.
it's rare that he does, but when he has the time and opportunity, out of the city even - he'd look upon the stars.
he won't scribble any words down, but just sketching down what he sees in the sky, trying to make out the constellations. in the sky, he doesn't has to think about the colours - it's the same, late night starry sky that everyone sees.
agatha's eyes were ever so slighty glazed as she tries to fully wake herself up. from her sleep or a dream, she doesn't know now. all she knows is that her cheeks have been dusted with pink due to staying out in the early morning cold to watch the sunrise. but she trudges down the stairs with her stuff to be loaded on the buses anyways.
she's about to head towards the cafeteria for breakfast when she catches the instructors calling her over and hwaryun joining them right after. she crosses her arms over chest in an attempt to warm herself up, but also to brace herself for whatever it was the instructors may assign the both of them during the last day of the trip.
upon hearing that the instructors are looking for information on the stolen camp items from last night, agatha listens more closely.
"do you guys know about what happened last night? where the items went?" one instructor asks.
she was there last night. she knows exactly who took the LEDs and started handing them out to students. she knows who took what but what came after capture the flag, she can't really pin point if ever the items were brought back.
usually, agatha will have her signature smile, the same one she teaches her friends whenever they're put in a precarious situation. but agatha's face is blank, her dead set on something behind the instructor's heads.
"i have no information to provide regarding the missing items, i went back to the dorms with choi yerim and you can corroborate my word with hers. but as for who took it, i have no idea."
she finally turns to hwaryun, her eyes expectant. she doesn't know if he gets what she is trying to communicate, doesn't know if he notices the flat cadence of her voice.
the instructor wouldn’t be able to tell a thing from agatha’s blank expression, but this was something unusual to hwaryun himself. it was obvious to him that the girl knew something. he resists himself from furrowing his eyebrows or staring her down. he doesn’t believes agatha is the type to steal LEDs, anyway. there must be something more to it, perhaps she didn’t wanted to get into something that’s more trouble than it’s worth. he gets it.
so hwaryun nods along after seeing her expecting eyes… he almost laughs a bit at it. of course, he doesn’t. he remains calm and earnestly looks into the instructor’s eyes. “i happened to see her going back to the dorms too, so none of us were aware that the missing LEDs were missing,” he follow-ups with her.
as much of a responsible person he is sticking his nose into things, even there’s times when he has no desire to participate in the hunt for the missing LEDs. it’s their last day of the MT too. hwaryun rubs his belly, looking and sounding a little pathetic intentionally, “if there is nothing else, do you mind if we head off to breakfast? we’re really hungry…” he adds on a chuckle afterwards to lighten the mood.
when the instructor isn’t looking, he turns to agatha with pressed lips and widened eyes: you got to tell me what’s going on later. is basically what he’s trying to signal her.

the early bird catches the worm, so they often say. hwaryun is one of those early risers, dedicated to an early morning routine. wakes up, catches the sunrise and then goes on a jog before going on breakfast. these mornings has been a little more special with the mountains, and today he was called by the instructors. strange, even agatha was called over. he wonders if they were going to be dumped with last minute duties considering the two of them are part of the student government? surely, not?
the boy quickly greets the girl with a bright smile on face, before turning to listen the instructor’s… ramblings about stolen LEDs. ah, are they going to deal with missing items again? hwaryun silently prays that wouldn’t be the case, already remembering the headaches they had during yeonchella with the missing shoes.
blinking to agatha, he waits for her to say something before he talking about his alibi. then he realises—wait, she seems… kinda off? he’s worked with her long enough to know her speech patterns and the way she does things. huh, so she knows something about it…?
as a child, hwaryun was supposed to be the hope of his mother’s dreams — to rise up in society, to be awarded with all the luxuries life could give her. therefore as a child, whenever someone asked him: what is your dream? the boy would only give a small smile: to make my mother happy.
though instead of a dream, it was a life purpose. he never had any dreams otherwise. he couldn’t dare to.
his existence was meant to serve its purpose of fulfilling his mother’s happiness. if his mother was happy, then hwaryun was happy. he’s simple like that; and he held no grudges against her as he grew up, when he realised that this was not normal at all.
it’s the least he could do. jeong hwaryun is the only one in the world who can make her happy; so he poured his efforts into become the ideal person of society.
hwaryun never believed he was born intelligent, so he studied hard for it. he was not born athletic, so he trained for it everyday. he was not born with a perfect personality, so he learnt the etiquette of socialising. he never gave up, he would persevere until the day he dies. what he firmly believed was that one day, his efforts would prove fruitful.
that one day, his sickly mother would finally look at her child, and tell him that he was a good boy.
she never did.
“i regretted bringing you into this world.”
hwaryun was quiet. his world did not come crashing down, instead all he could think of was that maybe his mother needs to sleep it off. she’s sick. she might be saying things she doesn’t means to. the next day, it’ll go back to normal. he’ll just have to work even harder to make her smile!
his mother flew to heaven the next day.
hwaryun never heard the words he’s always wanted to hear. all he could do was sit in front of her portrait, as people came by to gave him his condolences.
he couldn’t fulfil his mother’s happiness.
why does he exist then?
what does jeong hwaryun lives for?
“in exchange for being here, me— who’s not supposed to be here… i’ll help others out. i’ll use my life, to save them.”
like a knight in shining armour, he’ll close an eye to his own wounds. because his pain does not matter. it never will. all that matters is the ones around him, because their lives are precious. he will never let go of this conviction.
hwaryun uses an android phone, a samsung flip. he likes the feeling of flip phones! it busted his wallet but hey, it’s worth it! his phone case is red, but it looks like a dark greenish yellow to him because of his colour blindness. he didn’t think it was that striking until people pointed it out. his lockscreen is a picture of himself riding a horse where he won a race for the first time, while his homescreen is a picture of his fluffy chow chow dog called… knight! funny name, huh?
what is your muse's favorite and least favorite social media app? why?
youtube is his favourite! he’s always watching a video or listening to something in some way for background noise, he’s the type who needs sounds to study properly or do work in general. his least favourite would be… zoom. listen, as married as he is to zoom meetings because of his very busy student life — the feeling of being on it just sucks, you know?
what app or platform does your muse spend the most time on vs. the one they actually enjoy the most?
unfortunately, kakaotalk is the one hwaryun spends the most time on. his phone is always bursting with notifications from so many people and the amount of gcs from his president role - but somehow he manages to keep up. he’s a bit crazy for that, but hwaryun had always been a crazy workaholic. the app that he actually enjoys the most is again, youtube!
what time of day are they most active online?
hwaryun is usually most active in the mornings, he usually reads important chats like its his morning newspaper alongside his student emails. he’s less active in the evening since he usually reserves that time for sports, but otherwise he’s quite active and the type to read and respond quickly.
what was the last thing they took a screenshot on their phone?
probably, and very sadly, a screenshot of some medical notes online.
what does their camera roll look like?
a beautifully chaotic mess. hwaryun has pictures of a lot of things: real life, class notes, his friends… anything, really. his camera roll is brimming with life, with not too many screenshots. he often forgets to sort his pictures into albums, but he does it every once in a while when he can.
what app on their phone is the most embarrassing or least expected one?
a pet dog game simulator whenever he feels like he misses his chow chow. he’s pretty embarrassed about it, but he doesn’t shies away from it if someone brings it up.
what's your muses most popular post across social media? How do they feel about it?
a selfie of himself posing with his chow chow, knight! they’re both smiling very brightly. if you squint, they look sort of similar. the caption is pretty simple: [ peace! ✌️] hwaryun is 100% sure its because of his cute chow chow that it gained a lot of likes and comments. like, really sure.
how often does your muse delete or archive old posts? What's the thought process behind those decisions?
once hwaryun posts something, he almost never deletes it. unless if he had a girlfriend and they broke up, he’ll delete those. otherwise he likes keeping them around on his profile, then taking a trip down the memory lane some day, cringing at past memories with a smile on his face.
agatha doesn't know how many times she's thankful she wasn't elected as the student body government president. although being hwaryun's right hand man was a job in itself, she can't imagine just how much more is placed on his shoulders, how much more people look to him for answers.
she never intend to covet the president's seat despite being a part of ophiuchus anyways. her fair share of tasks as vice president are still , but there would be times that hwaryun knows exactly what she needed that agatha genuinely thinks that hwaryun is the right pick for the job.
"ah, you're an angel," she says as she takes the cold drink, immediately bringing it to her face. she nods along as he lists off all the things they promised to check-in with each other in the beginning of the festival. "how i'm so glad to hear that. yesterday was just chaos."
agatha groans at the mention of the thief wreaking havoc since friday, one that they've yet to catch. "don't even mention that. i'm sure they're either profiting from selling those shoes or are drowning in their collection."
agatha tries not to think too much about the line of people they had to deal with yesterday, all complaining about missing shoes during the performances. she even heard of them missing since camping thursday night which is a whole other problem that can't hold space in her mind. "are you having fun at least, mr. president? you can probably take a break and i'll take over for a bit."
the amount of responsibilities placed on his shoulders were heavy, there were moments when he found himself sighing when new yet trivial problems comes pouring in. sometimes it causes him to blink confusedly, he swears organising events in high school was less chaotic than this. regardless, hwaryun pushes through. just a few more days, and it’ll lighten up. the rest of the student body is working hard, so he needs to work even harder!
“if i’m an angel, are you a seraphim then?” the boy chuckles. the compliment was probably odd, but hwaryun always had this bit of oddity with him. his smile breaks into an awkward smile as he lets out an exasperated sigh, relaxing his muscles. “that’s… pretty low of them to profit from people’s shoes. but then again, some of the ones who got their shoes stolen were also the ones camping without permission…” which is arguably, rather hilarious how the victims were also confessing their crimes at the same time. killing two birds with one stone, perhaps?
looking over agatha, hwaryun gives her a thumbs up and a reassuring smile. “it’s tiring, but it’s fun organising this entire thing, really! i think you need that break more, i still got some energy in me.” he wasn’t lip servicing the girl or anything, hwaryun is still pretty energised. whether or not he passes out after this event… is a different issue though!

In anticipation of our one-month anniversary, the admin team has decided to release a fun meme for all our members! When we were thinking about opening a group, we truly never imagined that it would get the amount of support we've received so far. From the bottom of our hearts, we'd like to sincerely thank all the members who have been with us since opening, and the ones who have been joining since then. We hope to continue fostering a place where you can develop your muses freely while having fun!
We're sure you're already familiar with the concept, but we'll explain it anyway. By reblogging this post, you will be participating in the honesty hour, where other members can send in questions regarding whatever they want, and your muse will have to answer truthfully. Please remember that this event happens in a vacuum, and the things shared are strictly OOC knowledge, unless stated otherwise. Anything posted from this honesty hour should not impact your muse IC.
The meme will run from Friday July 18th until Friday August 1st, but if you still have asks to reply after that date, you're free to post them. If you choose to participate, please ensure that you send a question to everyone who has reblogged the post as well, whether this be on your character’s account or on anon.
Once again, thank you so much for an amazing month, and we hope you have fun with this meme! Go wild!
