Testing out T pins for the first time during the blocking process. Much more effective than other forms of pins. May have to purchase more of them.

Knitting cables today, actually quite enjoying this. Pattern is Cable Baby pattern on Rav

Getting better at it.
I've been neglecting Tumblr, spending too much time over on Rav looking at awesome patterns.
I have three projects on the go:
Brick Sweater in New Lanark Aran in the Tartan colourway. It is going to be a warm sweater, perfect for a Scottish winter.
Fightin' Words mittens - see the pic above. Using Regia sock yarn and wow, the difference in the 4 ply of the Regia compared to the MillaMia is noticeable. These were supposed to be for husband, now for a girl friend who has small hands... Will deff do this pattern again tho. Prob in MilliaMia.
'Vanilla' mittens - basically cast these on to test out the tubular cast on in preperation for the Fightin' Words. I like the cast on, not entirely sure about the bind off though. These fit my husband, but might keep them for an Xmas present for one of his friends. MilliaMia, merino to me is like babies bottoms to ... Mothers? :/
First ever attempt at spinning. Corriedale Sliver in Grape Jelly.
Not the thickness I was looking for, not the thickness I thought I'd get, but I don't think it's as bad as it coulda been...
Grape Jelly. Good enough to eat.
So, so, so very proud of my lovely February ladies sweater (free Rav pattern), my first full adult knitted garment!
Also, my spindle just arrived in the mail :D SQUEE.
Harlee, can't really see here but her paws are inflamed.
Tried Jeremiah Weed for the first time today. HOLY SHIT.
Oh, I have found my new god.
Love how my crochet kit is so much smaller and easier to manage than my knitting kit! I had put down the yarn related implements because of weddings and babies and such in my life, but I am back to the stash busting - and I forgot how good crochet is at using up yarn. Got a unicorn on the go, but it's horn is a bit suggestive looking.
PhotoBooth photo, yuk.
PROCRASTINATING.

PROCRASTINATING.
I tried.
I don’t know if I’m going to like this, but I thought I’d give it a go anyway. Any opinions? #twinings #tassimo (Taken with Instagram)
I found this very sweet, sweeter than I'd like but when I looked at the contents of the milk, there's a sugar content within it. In real need of a coffee right now... might fall asleep on the way to the Tassimo.
Sometimes I wish I hadn't gotten a stupid mortgage/house. My monthly outgoings when I stayed with my parents was around £350-£400. Mortgage alone is like £423. And buying food is an expensive game.
I need money for tattoos, dammit.
