The final clip of this episode it was perfectly sweet, the best ending to one of my favourite episodes this season.
Matteo talking about David with the boys, getting advice from them, just the whole scene overall, the boys spending time together, behaving like teenagers, taking the mick out of each other about food choices, honestly Matteo could hardly judge knowing everything that went into those sandwiches he made with David, and the boys would probably agree.
His erased first message, how was that going to end? The second message that was sent⊠well at least it was direct. As Jonas was saying and as Matteo agreed to, he wanted clarity, probably the best way to get it even if it did sound harsh. Plus Matteoâs comment to Carlos between drafting the two messages, that made me laugh.
Jonas, Abdi, Carlos, Mia, and Hanna, the way they left the flat, to give Matteo and David space, the girls not really knowing what was happening but just going with it. Jonas physically running, rallying everyone out, even those more reluctant to leave, that scene felt so much like the og, not in a bad way, but so much funnier. Thankfully they had enough brain cells to go up the stairs till David was in the flat, rather than make the situation possibly uncomfortable by all of them bumping into him on the way down. Jonasâ Instagram stories where they were on the stairs and after just made that moment so much funnier and realistic just imagining them eating pizza on the street or another random location.

When David first arrived outside the flat, pausing at the top of the stairs while Matteo was in the flat, showing the distance that was between them.
'Hiâ being the only word both of them could manage in that moment. A greeting but one that showed how nervous both of them were.
Matteo shutting the door on the moment Jonas, Abdi, Carlos, Hanna and Mia were all looking down, watching things unfold. The door shutting them out, Matteo and David completely alone but together in their own little world, the place they needed to be.
No words were said, but at the same time so much was being said.
The look on Davidâs face, he was scared, he was nervous, he was trying to say something but nothing was coming out.
Matteo just waiting on David.
David touching foreheads with Matteo, going in to kiss him, but falling into a hug instead, David trying different ways of being close with Matteo/ finding comfort in Matteo.
The way Matteo tightened his grip when he was hugging David. The movement that showed he wanted to keep David close to him, contrasting with Wednesday when Matteo was hugging the pillow, the closest thing he had to David in that moment. Now he was hugging David and he was not wanting to let him go.
Their hug, I have never felt such satisfaction from a hug before, the hug in which both Matteo and David were holding onto each other and not letting go.
The way Matteo kept closing and opening his eyes, the closed eyes showing how relaxed and relieved he was, finally having David in his arms again, the open eyes keeping him in reality, telling him/ reminding him that this moment was all real.
David he looked like he was holding back tears, seeking comfort and closeness from Matteoâs hug. Holding onto Matteo like there was nowhere else he would rather be, contrasting with the last message he sent Matteo, the message that said he wasnât into Matteo. His hug with Matteo, holding onto him, saying how sorry he was, how he didnât mean what he said in his message.
Matteo and David hug saying more than the words, that had already failed to come out, could have said in that moment.
Their relationship built on the soft/ tender intimate moments more than the physical intimate moments.
Their talk is coming, but in that moment they just needed to be close to each other, hold onto each other, reassure each other that the other was there, that the physical distance wasnât there anymore in that moment.
That was the true beauty of this moment.
