The Day the Clock (Didnāt Quite) Apported
First a little backstory...So, weāve been having issues with things disappearing in our house, and with things knocking around and getting thrown across the room, whenever something does disappear, the first thought is something has apported (the paranormal transference of an article from one place to another) our stuff. After all, we have found stuff hidden in zipped bags that it could not have gotten (i.e. my bodkin was found in one of my wifeās purses and she doesnāt touch my sewing implements because she doesnāt have the slightest clue of how most of them work.)
Generally itās small things like my bodkin, or papers, or most infamously my Gingher scissors which have not been found to this day.
Anyways, this morning, I wake up after a nap (I had awakened with my wife at 4). I know I need to get clothes put away before my wife gets in or Iāll be in the doghouse. I look to the wall where our analog clock hangs & itās gone.
My first thought is,Ā āgreat, it fell.ā
However, after searching around the area it could have fallen, I canāt find it. I begin to freak so I call my sister, who was visiting this weekend, & ask her to look for it. She canāt find it either.
Something has finally gotten enough power to apport something substantial. Something in our house apported my fucking clock! The clock of all things! The clock!
I text my wife āOMG, something has fucking apported the wall clock!ā
I freak and decide to take residence in the living room where my sister is. Then my wife texts back.
She moved the freaking clock last night when the ticking wouldnāt let her sleep. She moved it, leaving me to think that the house is on the brink of full out poltergeist haunting, you know the kind...trees swallowing kids, tvs sucking in more kids, the ground bursting open to engulf the house, but no- my wife couldnāt sleep so she moved the clock & couldnāt be bothered to inform me until after my freakout.Ā
