Happy Father's Day (late post)

I know it's not 12th anymore but Happy Father's Day. I'm not sure what to write but I know you're watching me and I feel sorry for every bad things I've done until now, but hey dad, your daughter has grown up. I'll be better tomorrow, and the next day as well. I promise. I'm turning 19 in a month, it means it's been almost sixteen years since you left. I have no memories of you, however I'm totally sure you're the hero of my life. I wish I remembered the vivid memories you left me with. I adore you more than anyone. Perhaps because I don't know you, I came to a conclusion that you're the best thing ever happened in my life, even for a short time. I can feel our bond, for me being completely a replica of your personality (said by so many people lol). And even they kept on saying that you're no good in this and that, I believe you're still the hero I'm yearning. Even if I don't know you, I miss you. I hope you're doing well up there. I hope God takes a good care of you. Sometimes I think about how would my life be if you're here. We'd be the best duo in the house. We love the same thing, we yearn for freedom, we do what we want. You'd be angry at me for trying bad things but perhaps you'll ask me out for a drink when life's hard (because mom is strict and bro isn't fun) or even take a drag outside for a little chat. You'd be so proud of me for winning a mere dance competition and support the path I'm focusing on. You and mom would argue too damn much for my future and boyfriends (or even girlfriends) and perhaps you'd be the one I talk to, a lot, because our personality match and that's what a father is to a daughter. If you're home, you'd be watching your daughter grew up, guiding her through the bad and good of life. If you're home, you'd be working with your DJ pad and smile to me when I got back from school. You'd be jobless (or work as a DJ) and I'd still think you're the coolest man in the world. You'd be cooking a lot of tasty food, I'd be so fat but then you'll help me going through the diet with your healthy menus. I heard you're so good at cooking. I want to taste your cooking, even once. If you're home, I'd say 'I love you' to you everyday.
