Coming up with some backstory for Narook and enchanted by the highly improbable, yet incredibly entertaining concept of him being Tahno's dad.

Because like, Narook's Noodles being the Wolfbats hangout even after they stop being the Wolfbats makes it seem like they just enjoy being there. Because they're hanging out at their friends dad's place. Also all tho posters of Tahno on the walls are the equivalent of putting your kid's homework on the fridge.

I would kill for a bonus tlok season or comic run set in between seasons 1 and 2. Yes I'm aware we'd have to deal with mako and korra newly dating, yes I'm aware the love triangle energy would still be there with us having to see asami grapple with her feelings for mako.

But you know what else we'd get? Bolin and asami bonding to show us the lead up to him being the one she picks to accompany her when facing Varrick. You could make it that he's the one she consistently went to when rebuilding her life after her father because he was such a bright presence that it added levity. Give me a b-tier antagonist where the main focus is building the bonds between the krew and the rest of the named cast we have.

I want to see Pema mothering Bolin, Mako, ans Asami because yes they're older teenagers but they don't have parents to rely on and she's always eager to lend a supportive shoulder.

I want to see mako and korra at a good point in their relationship because regardless of how it ended they still dated for 6 months and clearly cared about each other the entire time. Give me mako and Bolin brother bonding and the tension as we see Mako step away from pro bending, the thing that kept them close for so long.

The airbending kids and korra getting into trouble, heck make it an antagonistic that the kids can be an active part in taking down.

I know it would be a tough ask but with how much I do love each of the antagonists we got and how bustling republic city is, I think there's a big opportunity for a story to work within the time we have.

It would also let us see them potentially face down other benders so we can see Mako go toe to toe with another firebender, something we really didn't get in korra.

Just, give me more of them before adulthood and jobs separated their lives.

Unfortunately, to a ten year old, the concept of “training” is a bit different then the adult definition

Lin is rethinking every one of her life choices

Here goes my interpretation. It still works I think.

When Lin heard that Bolin wants to train his fire ferret to be a police dog she didn't know what to even say. How trainable are fire ferrets, really? She wanted to dismiss it outright, but other animals aren't unheard of in search units. Maybe this could work. That if Bolin is patient enough to actually train Pabu.

Imagine Lin's surprise when she gets home and sees Mako wrapped in at least three blankets and Pabu scratching and biting her ferociously under Bolin's command. As it turns out, Bolin didn't abandon this idea after a week. He followed this through. He's trainig Pabu to be an attack...ferret? And the commands Pabu knows now are "sit", "roll", "bite ankles" and "jump from a high place & attack face".

Naoki found herself fleeing to an earth kingdom settlement near ba sing se that just barely made it out the otherside of a the fire nation encroaching where she hid her fire nation heritage and met san. Naoki and San were murdered in a mob after Panzo found her whereabouts and paid to let slip a rumour of her past.

For a couple years Mako, who has been going by his father's name and hiding his firebending, and Bolin have been making their way across the earth kingdom pulling various scams and cons to make enough money to make ends meets as well as escape the numerous gangs, officers etc when found out to be fire nation. All until they meet an earthbending fighter by the name of Toza who takes them in after a change of heart surrounding a match he was paid to lose. Remarking on Bolins skill as an earthbender as well as the puppydog eyes from bolin and pabu, toza shows bolin the ropes of the ring.

By the time they meet Korra, they've found themselves fighting in the upper rings of ba sing se with higher amounts of money from more prolific betters, despite Tozas weakness gambling. With Mako picking up odd jobs here and there around the city to attempt to break even on Tozas spending.

Unfortunately they're found out around the same time risking both a visit from the dai li.

This is so real!!! The world is lucky Krew met in their later teens. I mean... Korra, who was too energetic for her own good and wasn't afraid of anything or anyone (don't even get me started on how she met Naga); Asami, who exploited the heck out of "it's easier to ask for forgiviness than permission", I just know it; Bolin, who wanted to be friends with everyone but also wasn't against playing a trick or two; And Mako, who was cunning, had street smarts for sure, and was semi-feral (not too dissimilar to an alley cat). Team avatar 2.0 were troublesome kids individually, so it's hard to imagine how worse it would be if they were best friends back then. Well, krew are having a blast, it's the adults who better watch out lol
