(Poll) Blinks piss me off so much sometimes tbh, how many times are blinks gonna ignore their mistakes and where they genuinely messed up and are wrong?? Imma say it again: blinks are extremely toxic. I recently read this article on quore like- 'Blinks are extremely toxic, like few days ago on instagram I saw this post which said “Milli- Thailand’s best rapper” and it was reel of Milli rapping, there was no comparing or mention or whatsoever of blackpink and blinks started throwing shade “no yckk, lisa best girl” ”lisa is thailands best rapper” like gurl lisa doesn’t even rap in thai?? just because she is from there doesn’t mean she becomes the best at it like make it make sense???' And i agree with this- like blinks somehow make the whole situation about themselves and blackpink like gurlies.

Like no hate to blackpink or the other blinks who are genuinely nice, mature and cool. Like lowkey, blackpink is the friendliest, one of the most down to earth idols ever and then there's these blinks.....

The sing songy type of rap-talking actually works for most kpop songs. The problems only come when idols who don't know the first thing about hip-hop cosplay as rappers.

love him or hate him, hes no angel by any means but i really think EAJ (Jae, originally from Day6) has a lot of balls when it comes to being Pro Palestine. I really wish more artists were this bold but I think him not being in the kpop industry def plays a part in him speaking up.

I think boycotting companies involved with israel is really valid but tbh i lowkey think theres a small section of kpop stans that were chomping at the bit to find a reason to “hate on” x artist. like some of it just feels really performative to me! this is just my opinion though and i dont try and look at boycotters like oh you just really wanna hate xyz artist.

I think fans get super ridiculous about what was and wasn't a spoiler in hindsight whenever there's a new comeback.

like maybe sometimes it's inspiration; artists can draw inspiration from anywhere, their own bandmates, their own stage performances and variety content and things they're into or that are stuck in their head; it doesn't mean they've been planning this years ahead and meticulously planting little hints everywhere

also there's only a limited amount of ways you can move your body so one dance move that later ends up in a choreo is not a spoiler. same thing for common phrases that become lyrics: they're just common phrases, so it's likely they same them and it's likely they end up in lyrics

Stayc should be getting so much more attention and hype. They've got an incredible production team, the girls are super talented and hard working with unique vocals, and the music videos are so gorgeous as well. They had no scandals, just sweet girls who get along with everyone under a new label which treats them fairly... They're the one GG I know who still has that specific 2017 fun vibe, especially the new comeback is so fun to listen to, but nobody's talking about it. Radio silence. I see people talking about GGs who hadn't even released anything in forever, come on! We have good music coming out right now 😮‍💨 Is it really just bc they're not from a big label? Again, their production team is black eyed pilseung look them up I PROMISE you already love at least one song they're credited for.

I also gen think minsung are real and the reason I think so is because in the case that they're not romantically involved, I still cannot imagine them finding life partners who will have better chemistry with them than e/o. They're at the point where they read each other so well it's like they can communicate telepathically- that's hard to beat. Hard to explain to a partner how this other guy is your declared soulmate and thousands of people online think you're in love but actually it's totally platonic. They leave no space for thirds in their dynamic- I think that's true for multiple other ships too, but minsung has the most solid case of it I've seen.

i think the made in abyss scandal was dropped too early and didn't point out who genuinely watches triggering and sexual content featuring underage peoples.. there is a broadcasted version that i watched growing up, but there's also proof of some of these idols owning the uncensored versions of made in abyss but they weren't pointed out or hated on as much bcs the scandal was only started to get hate on soobin. zoo wee mama

I think some people forget idols are people too and not robots for their entertainment. I’ll use Jennie as an example, yes sometimes she doesn’t perform to her greatest abilities but it’s always the same four clips of her because if they decided to dive deeper into the performance they’ll see she’s genuinely taking it seriously.

And people will use this as an excuse to be a hater and constantly spread hate to all the members when it’s only a few clips out of a 2 hour performance. It’s normal for your body to become exhausted and saying “it’s her job to perform” clearly is dehumanizing.

All of these idols are humans and it’s natural to feel exhausted. Yes they are in the entertainment industry but treating them like robots who should be able to sing, dance, and engaging with a crowd without getting tired is crazy.

I used Jennie as an example but this applies to every single idol. People forgot they’re humans two who have emotions.

(poll) people only care about mid popularity groups when they disband. no one gaf about cherry bullet, rocket punch, cignature, purple kiss when they were active, but everyone says they deserved better' after the disbandment news comes out.. girl why couldn't you care before !! they wouldn't have disbanded if they were famous/were making money.

note that purple kiss WILL disband in november and suddenly all of stantwt cares about them, as a fan since debut of all the groups mentioned above, my heart sinks each time.

Okay but genuinely, I love blackpink from the bottom of my heart, and will continue loving them always, and I'm not trying to create or spread hate or anything, but tell me why the blackpink tour/concert recently looked like they practiced in different rooms and were four soloists collabing? Like I understand now that they have tasted solo activities and freedom and have their own fandoms, going back to group activities after nearly 2-3 years seems like a step back, but it seems they're forgetting their roots and would rather be better off alone? Like admin what do you think, go ahead and post a pole on this (if you want to ofc no pressure)
