I'm Joseph, the host! We're a fictive-heavy broken singlet of mixed origins hoping to find any sense of community. No headmate list or headcount because there's no telling when we're gonna have another split or a headmate goes dormant (I hate when this happens PLEASE COME BACK š)
We don't have a collective name, we just jokingly use "Many In A Krillion" on some social things. If you don't know what to refer to us as, just say Joseph since that's the name we use collectively and when masking
Bodily a minor (adults preferably dniuf)
Transgender collectively due to the host being trans, but a lot of us have different pronouns (which will be included in sign-offs)

We have a lot of amnesia, especially between shifts/switches, and tend to forget things forever unless reminded (no the memories do not stick with the headmates unless it's stress/trauma for some reason, sighh)

Ok so point one: downloading mp3s (an audio file you can listen to) from YouTube is super easy. This goes for any creators anyone wants to boycott. All you have to do is Google āconvert YouTube to mp3ā and a bunch of them will show up. All you do is drop a Share link of the video you want to listen to into one of the websites, it gives you a download link.
(this may be slightly more complicated if you use an apple phone or products, as I donāt know how you access mp3s on those devices since I think they have everything ārailroadedā into iTunes app and format?)
Or, if you just want to listen to it on YouTube, there are other creators that have uploaded the song, (and this is the case for a lot of YT personalities that are reasonably popular) either to do their own visual project or to just have it on hand. Some people do hour loops of songs, in order not to be interrupted by ads, etc.

Regardless of whether I have a fictive or not, anybody who was petulant enough to insist somebody never listen to the song even in the context that Jake doesnāt see a cent of ad revenue from it, would be unreasonable. Do you agree or disagree with that notion, apart from what you yourself are gonna do about it?

George Orwell wrote the infamous dystopia novel 1984, where the government monitors what goes on directly in your head. The comparison was used because these people are demanding the same level of āpurityā (if indeed thatās what theyāre getting at, I have not consulted whoever is pushing this directly, if theyād be chill with just boycott and pirating bc it does not directly support the creator)
I was just addressing the notion that youād have to never listen to the song itself in order to conform to this backlash. Thatās a step further than any reasonable person should expect, is the point. Whether you decide to or not, just donāt make it about other peoplesā opinions.
Iām not quite clear on why you think the song would have an internal effect on you otherwise, thatās a whole other discussion.
āJKRā is J. K. Rowling, the actively transphobic Harry Potter creator. The point is that people can pirate her stuff without supporting her with money. There is no moral dimension to doing so. You can enjoy content and listen to songs without supporting icky, problematic, (or in the case of JKR, actively hostile and movement-building) creators.
I know how to convert YouTube videos to MP3, we've done it since the body was like 6, we just have no use for it ever since Spotify and all that

Like, it would most likely be something entirely different from Earth's religions obviously, but a religion nonetheless. It could be anything
Maybe some worship an Eridian who is said to be the largest to ever live. Maybe they believe in an unpercievable entity that watches over Erid. Maybe, like some of earth's religions and spiritual paths, they follow the teachings of certain religious figures but do not worship them. In all honesty these are the only things I could come up with but there's so many more possibilities

Saw a BAH mention the name Andromeda/Andromada and made me think of our Divinekin headmate, Andromeda, who went dormant about a week or more ago
We might have a slight attachment to this headmate because at the time, It had also taken the job of handling the host's emotional burnout as an Apathy Holder, kind of like It was giving us a break from exaggerating ourselves for the sake of having some form of differentiation. I like to think It's still watching over us like a guardian angel of sorts
