Did you ever think about the fact that because Gajeel and the others are from 400 years ago, they may recognize some ancient language? Like imagine Levy trying to decipher some ancient text for hours or days only to have Gajeel come up to tell her exactly what is says.

You know how in fics Dragon Slayers would sometimes know the dragon language? I find it funny that something similar actually became (somewhat) canon, bc you can't tell me the language didn't change at all in 400 years 😆
