I hope I made it clear that Asriel having Scrupulosity OCD and Kris having AVPD is not a bug but a feature.
It reframes Asriel's character as not just a golden boy who is a little cringe but a golden boy who's mental health was never taken seriously because of how emotional he was.
They love him but they never properly paid enough attention to him to really check why he was so obsessed with making sure he and his family have committed a sin or not.
His family never thought much about their actions or how those actions were clearly taking a tole on Asriel's mental health probably because he was never acting out in any way that they could perceive as negative.
Which probably made his condition worse if anything because Scrupulosity OCD makes you compulsive about your religious activity having external pressure alongside with little to no support will only makes your condition worse more than anything.
Meanwhile for Kris they are ignored too. People perceive Kris being avoidant as just their personality rather than a personality disorder they developed because of othered their environment made them feel.
Which is why a lot of people see Kris as edgy teen, a tsundere than an actual teen struggling mentally.
Rudy without even hesitation think that Kris only came to visit him because their mom asked them.
Obviously he's asking that with a sense of playfulness and humour but it does still imply that Rudy doesn't expect Kris to visit him in the hospital (possibly because he thinks that they are a teen that is too cool to have emotions basically he thinks they are in their edgy phase) when in reality chapter 4 pretty heavily implied that Kris actually cares very deeply about Rudy case in point them praying for him in private.
And honestly why they wouldn't they care about him he was the last holiday to visit them for TV time they are probably feel deep feelings towards him for giving them some semblance of normality when their life started falling apart and they began to grow distant with Noelle.
So why they don't visit them? Because of their condition.
Avoidant Personality Disorder or AVPD makes any sort of critic sounds like a personal insult even if the other person is just being playful towards you.
Rudy playfully makes fun of Kris but what he doesn't realise that Kris because of AVPD takes these insults a lot more personally.
Not in the sense Kris is made at Rudy for making these comments more so in the sense they have a condition that makes all insults feel a lot more personal than they really are.
A lot of people with AVPD can actually to some extent tell that the other person is probably joking around with them yet their condition still make it sound more hurtful than they are supposed to be hence why they become avoidant and cut off contact without explanation because they feel like their explanation is usually not good enough to request the other person to stop making these jokes or comments about them. It's supposed to be playful but it's still come across as hurtful and makes the person feel bad about feeling this way which leads to avoidance and later full on cut contact without explanation because they view it as a easier solution than simply explaining what they are feeling by the other person words.
In short both of the Dreemurr siblings conditions actually tells some interesting or nuanced things about their lives and i think it makes both of their character sorta interesting in their own right.
