After months of injury, it’s nice to get back on the track for strides.
Cross training on the bike for an hour.

I ran my first half marathon at the Chicago Half on September 27th, 2015, placing 4th female in 1:22:20.
I ran nice and relaxed for the first 9 miles then tried to see if I could catch the woman in third. While I couldn’t quite catch the runner ahead, I’m really proud of my first half marathon: my longest race by far!
My splits are 6:23, 6:22, 6:23, 6:16, 6:15, 6:21, 6:21, 6:19, 6:11, 6:03, 6:11, 6:04, 6:13; only started to get tough that last mile. I’m excited with where my aerobic fitness is for the fall and can’t wait to see how it translates over into track training this spring!
