alice in borderland s3 pretty much sucks. it’s disappointing. i hated the ending for s2 and was hoping for better next season.

there’s that pro-life ’life begins at conception’ mentality in the last couple episodes. as if the cells in the uterus could survive outside depending on the body, let alone play a game. i understand it was part of the plot (revealing usagi’s pregnancy, leaving the game band in another room, points, etc), but they could’ve figured out how to build the rest of the game off of 9 players rather than 10.

ai-generating ppls futures?? the fuck?? i don’t know if they actually used ai for that or the actors were actually there but either way the inclusion of ai pissed me off.

the very end of the show is basically a copy of squid game’s. be so fr.

also the new ‘main group,’ i don’t feel connected to whatsoever. might just be me but i felt no emotional connection to them for me to care about their inevitable end.

s3 just felt like a “fine here’s that last season you wanted since you hated the ending of s2.” i was slugging through it. yk like “oh i just started it, might as well finish.” bored :/
