If you check out the types of kryptonites this event features below, you'll see that a lot of kryptonites aren't as harmful as green kryptonite (and some are just kind of silly).

I decided to use both prompt for the color palette as an additional challenge. I still used only one of them as a prompt.

Kryptonite Week 2024: June 24th - 28th

Kryptonite Event Days

Day One: Green & Black

Green: saps Kryptonians of their strength and abilities provided by a yellow sun

Black: creates a dark personality (may be a physical split)

Day Two: Red & Blue

Red: unexpected consequences and what happens varies from exposure to exposure

Blue: acts like Green Kryptonite to Bizarros and is an antidote to the effects of Red Kryptonite

Day Three: Pink & Silver

Pink: gender/orientation swap

Silver: loss of inhibition, altered perceptions, extreme hunger cravings, and some psychotropic hallucinations

Day Four: Platinum & Gold

Platinum: gives Kryptonian powers to humans permanently

Gold: destroy a Kryptonian's ability to process yellow sunlight, thus permanently removing their superpowers

Day Five: Free Day

How this event will go 👇

The event will comprise of five days, each day is dedicated to a pair of Kryptonite types, to complete the challenge for that day you will submit a work matching one of those kryptonite types.

For added difficulty, use a bingo card to select a prompt to fulfill. If you use the bingo card, by the end of the week you should have at least five squares marked off and hopefully a bingo!!!

NOTE: Submitting a work that matches the daily typing is all you have to do to complete the challenge for that day. You do NOT have to participate in the prompt bingo challenge.

*technically, you could also complete the event using just the bingo card if you really wanted*
