do you think kara ripping open her shirt to expose her supergirl outfit as she runs off to save the day has become second nature yet?
because im ready for kara to be visiting lena late one night for some "best friend time because im totally straight" and kara hears screaming so she rips open her shirt in front of lena as shes about to run out but forgets shes not wearing her costume and they both kinda stand there frozen in gay panic.
a few seconds of silence pass and kara realizes the screams were coming from a nearby apartment watching a horror movie, so she gulps and softly apologizes, awkwardly buttoning her shirt back up.
but then lena's hands gently stop her own.
Honestly I think that's the sole reason Supergirl was created after Superman...
look i’d be FINE not seeing supercorp’s first kiss but ONLY if it’s like this:
kara and lena are fighting and lena has lex’s implicit trust and all of their friends miss lena but know better than to bring it up to kara and it’s just all a MESS
but then the last scene of the second last episode of the season is supergirl confronting lex and lena and lex being like ‘theres no way you got us beat, kara danvers. i have leviathan on my side. i have my sister on my side. it’s over, supergirl.’
and kara just laughs and she’s like ‘you have nothing, lex.’ and then lena walks from lex’s side of the room over to where kara and the superteam are standing and stands by HER side and she’s like ‘youve never had me.’ and he’s like ‘what the fuck is this’ and then he watches as lena slides her hand into kara’s and hes like what and nia and jonn are like what and alex is like WHAT and lena’s like ‘you wouldnt know what love looked like if it punched you in the tit, big brother’ and kara smiles and she goes ‘and leviathan is being dismantled as we speak’ and then it’s like BAM CUT TO SURPRISE GUEST STARS THE OTHER CW HEROES FULLY KILLING EVERY MEMBER OF LEVIATHAN IN A TARGETED SIMULTANEOUS ATTACK and then it cuts back to kara and lena smirking still holding hands as jonn arrests lex and then kara and lena hug for what looks like it’s the first time in forever, like holding onto each other and refusing to let go and then they KISS and superfriends are like whoa whoa whoa okay ladies explanation time
and they turn and face their friends and are like ‘we can explain’ and then its the end of the episode
and then the LAST episode of the season is a flashback to where they meet in the dead of night after the world reboot and discuss how they need to stick together but shits going down so they have to keep it hidden from lex and leviathan and nobody can know theyre working together and that way lena can get to leviathan through lex and take them all down. and then it flashbacks through different points throughout the season where its clear theyve been working together and even kara confronting lena is seen as a ruse because they knew lex was listening and growing suspicious of it all and then we watch them also slowly fall in love away from the gaze and pressure of their friends and everybody else and then we still see their first kiss just after the fact so i guess its a win win situation
Except CW doesn't seem like to have this kind of brain power to pull this off
