There's a belladonna twinkle twinkle jelly JSK for sale on Lacemarket rn and I thought of you! It has six days left so hopefully you see this in time 😊
I’m so sorry this is a late reply! I’ve been terrible about checking and updating this blog.
A friend of mine mentioned this dress a while back. It’s so cute and I don’t have any pastel jellies yet, so I might grab it the next time it comes around!
Have you ever seen the anime Princess Jellyfish? I'd highly recommend it, it's right up your alley with Jellyfish and fashion! (Also, you're really pretty and I love your coords! 😊)
YES! It’s a favorite of mine. It’s a shame it was only 11 episodes. I’ve been meaning to read the manga to help me cope with no new content.Thank you!! That’s really kind of you to say. <3 T^T I try to do my best and I think wearing Lolita has helped my better self shine through. It’s a massive confidence booster and I think that shows much more than it used to. :3 I’ll keep putting together more coords with more jellyfish~
Hello jellies~!
When Long Ears Sharp Ears came out with this print, I instant purchased when I missed the window on a Kings Eleven print. I got my second chance! No sighs here! It was a perfect print and style for a fancier (future) tea party environment.
More recently, I’ve been fiending for another Lolita meetup since our delayed Valentine’s meet came and went and now I’ve been stuck reminiscing about my first tea party. Jump back to November 2017 (right after Halloween) and the end of the Baby the Stars Shine Bright weekend pop-up at @kawaiinola (I bought so much and wanted to get so much more...). Spooky and elegant Phantom Masquerade was an amazing event held at Sucré (Lakeside) in Metairie with tea, raspberry bellinis (21+), and pastries. It was my first big community event and it was great to see some familiar friends in their finery and meet new ones in gorgeous coords!
I was so happy to see my younger sister attend her first Lolita comm event as well! She was so cute and elegant and I’m glad I can share this hobby with her. It’s a wonderful opportunity to nurture our sibling bond in adulthood. Keep at building your wardrobe! It takes time, but you’re already off to a great start.
@zambidraws was the guest artist (designer of the event’s banner) and had a cute booth at @kawaiinola with soooooo much art. I’ve loved her art for so long and it felt inspiring to meet the artist and pick up adorable pieces. I hope we get to see each other again soon!
My dandy aristocrats guys looked so dapper and elegant and honestly blow me away even more every time I see them. @vaughnhikari with that protagonist hair and best cinnamon roll status. @vthewhitemage with the jabot and top hat looking sleek as well. I was thrilled to have y’all as table mates at the tea party. Thank y’all for the tea recommendations and the excellent laughs!
To top it off, I won 2nd in the coordinate contest and received a Puvithel purse! I was so flattered and shocked. It really added some icing on top of a fantastic evening.
To give you a better idea and scope of the tea party along with all of these wonderful Lolitas, here are some videos of the event!
I wish I had some better stills from it, but my screen caps will have to do.

Hello jellies~!
I missed a week since I was super busy with work-related ventures, but we’re back with another jellyfish coord!
Another throwback to October 2017! I love this sailor OP so much. I need to take better care of it since it has some wear and tear now from all the usage. It’s super light and great for warm weather. I wore this for Japan Fest at the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA). In addition to market vendor pop-ups, our community hosted a J-Fashion Show walking down the front steps with @mintchoconae as our emcee. It was so much fun and really makes me want to participate in more fashion show events.
I’d like to get a straw boater or a better headpiece since this floppy hat was a hassle to keep on straight. A headbow might seem like a good choice, but I really want to maintain some sun/glare protection.

Hello jellies~!
Here’s another throwback coord from August 2017. I got this pretty simple coord together for the @soracalling ep release party for gloire! It was amazing and hosted at @kawaiinola in New Orleans. Go check out his music! This OP is made of heavier suit material and I definitely melted while I was in there. Thankfully, I got to cool down with rolled ice cream at Freezy Street and it was definitely worth the wait for the My Thai chai flavor.
These lace-up boots are incredibly comfortable, but they have a faux fur lining which is great for cold weather...Louisiana summers not so much. I’m waiting for another winter blast in order to wear them again.
I’d like to do more with this OP, but I need to get the zipper repaired or replaced since it doesn’t zip all the way up without great force that I don’t have in my fingertips. The sleeves/cuffs are also pretty restricting. For my first OP where I didn’t have to get a whole lot of items to make a complete beginner look, it did a great job. It also scratched the constellation/astronomy/space itch.

Hello jellies~!
I wanted to start off this Lolita Fashion blog with my first coordinate debuted in July 2017 at MechaCon in New Orleans! It was incredibly nerve racking and exciting to be wearing Lolita out at the convention and in public at a Robert’s grocery by the Hyatt Regency. I didn’t have enough poof in my petti, but I was thankful that @mintchoconae had an extra one that I bought a few months earlier at LouisiAnime. I fell in love with Lolita when I started watching and later reading CLAMP’s Cardcaptor Sakura and Chobits. I started researching back in 2006 on CandyViolet and whatever random Lolita sellers I could find. 11 years and a lot of color theory/matching and homework later, I got my first dress! I’m still searching for the headbow. Maybe Nunu will rerelease Moonjelly Princess one day!
