Ace Attorney Deaths: They say the defendant bludgeoned the victim with a convenient flat object. The circumstances themselves aren't impossible. But the information about the motive is coming from a parrot on the witness stand. Danganronpa Deaths: I thought we were all friends here but it seems SOMEONE couldn't resist killing someone and then dramatically revealing the body in some crazy, dramatic fashion. No thanks to whoever probably tampered with the crime scene to make it more interesting. Zero Escape Deaths: It's all normal murder. The weird part is that the victim came back to life as a clone, or everyone's killing each other, or there's cross-timeline transportation and the destruction of humanity involved. AI The Somnium Files Deaths: Who is the killer, and why would they keep doing THAT to the corpses? And can people stop dying for five minutes, we're only one route in and I don't know what's going on! Buried Stars Deaths: The murders are all kinda normal but we're a small cast and we're not solving this ourselves. Time to call in the big guns... the toxic Twitter feed. Process of Elimination/Tantei Bokumetsu Deaths: You take your eyes off this group for five minutes and they've somehow Rube Goldberged each other into the cruelest and most unusual way a person can possibly die, all without anyone noticing. Gnosia Deaths: The two options are "vanished into thin air" and "chucked in the freezer", and the second one's democratically sanctioned. But there's a secret third option, which is "thrown out the airlock for misgendering someone", and a secret fourth which is "slime". Your Turn to Die Deaths: It's not the murders that are cruel, it's the player's participation in the murders. Ghost Trick Phantom Detective Deaths: The first step of trying to keep someone from dying is watching them die and going, "THAT'S how you died?!" before rolling up your sleeves and fixing the situation. Paranormasight Deaths: In any other game, deducing how someone drowned in the middle of a field while bone dry would be the subject of a huge Ace Attorney style courtroom segment. In this game it's just "probably this one specific curse stone", and the hard part is finding out what criteria they fulfilled on a technicality to activate it.

my rambly (probably incoherent) thoughts on will, eleanor, and the series' unreliable narration;
we began dark rise thinking that will had a good—or at least, decent—relationship with his mother. sure they spent their lives on the run, but at least they had each other, right?
then we find out toward the end that will very conveniently forgot to mention that she tried to KILL him? but despite that, he still harbors no resentment towards her because no duh she'd do that! he's the dark king reborn! of course she'd try to kill him <— will's very unironical thoughts on the matter
that reveal reframes the story and his entire relationship with her.
by the end of book 1, we know little to nothing about his life on the run. did eleanor treat him well? badly? what if it was only while she was dying that she broke composure and tried to take his life. was she even his actual mother?? or did she find him by coincidence? if so, why did she raise him as her own? why not kill him immediately? so on and so forth.
then we meet the midwife who delivered him and the kent sisters in book two, dark heir. it was then pretty much confirmed that will IS eleanor's child—the oldest of three. we also find out that eleanor did not treat him very well even as a child. a child described to be fiercely loyal, mind you.
if eleanor never truly treated will as her son, that means that from the very beginning of book 1, will probably already had an inkling of what he was as perceptive as we know him to be. let's be real, he probably already knew he was the dark king by like, chapter 5 or something. we just didn't find out because will is the type to repress his emotions. he's very observant, but he doesn't share a lot of his thoughts and observations to both the rest of the cast and the audience. he tells us what we want to know at that given moment and keeps the rest to himself.
again, on track for him as an unreliable narrator. he denies himself things he wants. he convinces himself he deserves to be treated badly. he has internalized those thoughts so much that the narration we receive doesn't reveal how badly he wants to be accepted as someone worthy to be cared for. it's only when we scrutinize his every conversation and interaction with the others do we realize that. it's why he never thought ill of eleanor. why he never begrudged katherine or elizabeth or cyprian. why he was always willing to give james another chance. he treated them the way he'd want to be treated—with understanding. it was only until he was about to be outed as sarcean that will admitted the depth of his desperation for others to see the good in him. and it was with that honesty did we finally feel the impact of the tragedy of it all.
another dark rise silly(?) theory
this theory assume that Sinclair is the Sun King returned. The Sun King punished/try to kill Sarcean with darkness, what if Will does the same in reverse? What if Will punish Sinclair with light? What he if he sets the guy on fire, that’s what I’m saying
wait so it is canon that Perry gets paid by owca and it must be a considerable amount seeing how monogram reacts to a bonus or overtime pay.... so what does Perry do with the money??? where does it go?? is THAT how Phineas and Ferb's building materials get paid for?? or he does taxes??? I need to know
