the forbidden romance of r/c (junior counselors at church camp are NOT allowed to intermingle) versus the dull, predictable relationship the audience finds it impossible to invest in: a man sending phishing emails daily just for the chance to briefly be in contact with the recipient, who not only enters her confidential information every time, but also is beginning to wonder: what do i do if my bank's automated security alert messages are beginning to seem... darkly sensual?
on every occasion where it is required that i change my security questions, the options from the dropdown menu become increasingly intimate. at first it was like "what model was your first car?" but now it's like "when you next visit your father's grave, what eerie and beautiful song would you most want to hear playing from a source you could not locate"

Fish's 300th and final stream—STOLLEBOOT
I'm usually pretty decisive about what to stream, but this one eluded me for weeks. How do you cap off 300 nights of shared memories and shenanigans and collective suffering? You can't. Not meaningfully, anyway. What you CAN do is have a party and watch the most ridiculous option possible.
Stolleboot is a brilliantly seamless edit by @cowardtranslation that stars beloved jack of all trades JEREMY STOLLE as the Phantom, JEREMY STOLLE as Raoul, JEREMY STOLLE as Passarino, and JEREMY STOLLE as Piangi.
As always, the stream will be on cy.tube and shy anons are welcome. For more info, please see the Saturday Streams FAQ! Link and password will be posted here at 8:45.
Remember to follow @from-aldebaran for stream posts going forward!

remember when teachers would tell you to fold paper hamburger or hotdog style. kind of sounds like some fake shit but just another example of burger centric american thinking
non americans in the tags doubting if this is true. you think burger is a fucking joke to us??
BACCHUS (alt. Dyonysus)!
An extremely rare Masquerade costume, usually only worn by swings, and only made new for two productions: Toronto and Hamburg. I have never seen Maria Bjørnson’s design for this, and for the longest time I thought it was just a last night goof thing in Toronto. But with the appearance of two costumes in Hamburg as well, it seems like a legit one. Due to the re-use of costumes, the Toronto one was later inherited by the Latin (Mexican/Spanish/Brazilian/Argentine) productions and the Russian one. Meanwhile, the Hamburg one also appeared in Oberhausen and in Sao Paulo. Bacchus (Roman name) / Dionysus (Greek name) is the ancient god of grape harvest, wine and drunkenness. In ancient times alcohol was an important part of the ritual ceremonies of theatre, so he’s also often a patron of theatres and rites. There exists different ways of depicting him. Showing him clad with grapes and vines, and colours hinting to the deep colour of the grapes, has been common in Western art. Shape wise, there’s the round, fluffy man, and/or as a little person. There’s also the slim, sensual Bacchuses. The stage costumes seems to embody both - the original Toronto one shows a rounder, padded shape, while the Hamburg ones are slimmer. Historically Bacchus came in many forms, but he always represented the pleasure human may feel when liberating themselves from their consciousness by the intoxication of wine, of music and of the pleasures of the body. Fitting for the Masquerade, no? (albeit, judging from a photo above, Raoul says NO)
Bonus: If you think the stage costume is wild, here’s the wildest Bacchus grape costume I’ve ever seen, from a frescoe in the House of the Centenary, Pompeii. 55-79 CE (Naples Archaeological Museum)

my toddler is 3 years old and wont eat anything other than fine porterhouse steaks and sweet port wine
you need to discipline your child. port is a horrible choice for the main course and wildly clashes with a rich béarnaise.
dude hes three….
And uncultured. Get a new child
