I'm cryn there really are more black and Hispanic people on twitter 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 everyone here is a light dweller suburbanite that wouldn't hesitate to "my black friend said-" to me
cracker Island
as much as I joke, it's SO FUCKING isolating. especially when people are being ignorant and racist towards me. but even after the racism, it's just so isolating to not be around your kin folk.
the lack of POC on this website is fucking concerning and I only see users of color, especially black users, acknowledge this.
Luna the panther
(She/Her) 🐆🖤🏳️⚧️
she also is named Luna cuz she was born under the lunar eclipse and chose that name for herself.
in her human form she's also very dark skinned because I find dark skin beautiful and I hope dark skin black trans women know they are loved.
instead of rap discourse I think it's awesome that rap and hip-hop has continued to sample music that's mostly from the 70s, from our parents/grandparents generation. it's a tradition that's continuously passed down.
i can almost recognize a majority of samples or rappers literally guiding me to new music. instead of discoursing over rap I just wanted to appreciate it.
fuck you, humanizes your favorite furry t4t couple (WIP)
i think tatsuki fujimoto is the only artist to ever make me feel represented as a trans man.
his transmasc characters appear feminine and have a lack of access to gender affirming care, but seeing them openly call themselves "man/guy" is so moving to me. it's powerful. even if his understanding of being transgender is messy, it's heavily appreciated by me. his work made me realize I'm trans
transgender rep that's tragic in a way but somewhat overt and grounded means so much to me than caricatures or preschool level corporate shit.
this means a lot to me.
Crystal doodles
(She/Her) 🦭
i also wanted to make her fat but in a way where her body creases a lot and is a bit square shaped in the tummy area
fat bodies come in many different forms. I strive to draw them in many different ocs (trying my best)

ELECTRICITY ⚡
it is annoying that posts about antiblackness can be said by a non black person that's only parroting the surface level issues we black people face and get a gazillion notes and honestly It's starting to piss me off how those posts get more attention then black users on here getting overlooked when we talk about our experiences because people do have interlized racial biases. they won't even reblog it because they're scared they're "overstepping" but it's ok when a non black ally says the same thing.
please don't be scared to boost black voices, especially now with the current climate and how this website has a smaller black userbase than before. please.
we kinda just wanna be heard and understood, that's all. Also please don't do the "as a white person" bs on this post quite frankly it's annoying as well and unnecessary. you can quietly boost our voices.
I've come to a conclusion that Disney/Pixar is too scared to do anything with black characters because they fear it isn't as marketable. so they either turn black people into blobs/animals or just straight up not market a movie that features prominent black characters.
i wish more people brought this up with their criticism of Disney and not "I WISH WHEN VILLAINS WERE ACTUALLY EVIL GUHH"
even their shows with black characters are barely marketed.
this wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't a CONSISTENT theme. hell, even that shitty movie Wish, with a black lead, was barely marketed and easily forgotten abt.
i know it feels silly criticizing an already evil corporation, but their antiblackness is so blatant and it's puzzling how not many people picked up on this.
Can we find a sun god or diety from every timezone and make a map of them all?
We probably can, but the question is should we?
How else will ship captains know who to pray to when they circumnavigate the globe?
…Give me until the end of the weekend.
I actually had some unexpected free time today so I was able to create this a lot faster than I expected.
It isn’t perfect, but following the initial post I assigned each timezone one sun deity, so travelers know who they might pray to while exploring the world.
This was a lot of fun to create and to research mythologies from across the world, and I think I learned a couple of things doing so!
Well, there you have it folks. Safe travels.
Disturbingly common for a lot of people to base their morality on what is legal or considered normal in their societies rather than asking questions about whether the thing causes harm and etc.
Very easy to notice this on subjects like immigration, interracial marriage, homophobia, and etc.
Support for interracial marriage in the US went from 4% in 1958 to 94% in 2021. It was only around 20% at the time it was legalized in 1967.
How many people today would still support it if not for the fact that the battle was won before they were born and it became the new normal in their society?
How many more people would be hardcore bigots today if only it was more socially acceptable? This question is especially relevant considering that the core objective of all the "anti-woke" politics is to make open hate for minorities more acceptable.
It's important to have actual values and principles on this, preferably ones based on the real life effects of actions and policies.
i can't wait for the nigga solstice 5 year anniversary to come around, I still haven't gotten my powers.
Crawling out of my hole to remind people that with this current update to Firefox (version 144) they've gone and dumped in their lot with a buncha lil AI tools, namely Perplexity as a new search engine.
So if the sound of that leaves your mouth tasting of tar, here's what you want to do:
In the url bar, type in about:config
It'll give you a big scary warning page that you might poke holes in your browser. Good. You want to do that. Click continue.
One by one, you're going to need to put each of these into the search bar in the page, not up top:
browser.ml.enable browser.ml.chat.enabled extensions.ml.enabled browser.ml.linkPreview.enabled browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled browser.tabs.groups.smart.userEnabled
Each of these are gonna have a lil toggle icon on the right hand side that looks like a funky double-ended arrow. Click that and the value next to it should change to false. It all auto saves as you go. Some of these might already be set to false by default and that's peachy.
The next best thing you can do for yourself is to set your default search engine to udm14 or Qwant, but for now, we're just tidying the garden a lil bit.
Edit: This wildly broke containment for a post that was supposed to be me basically ranting and grumbling like an old man on my porch to my homies. If I’ve inspired you to follow through with this, peachy. That was mildly intended. Better yet, I hope I’ve spurred a buncha you on to do your own bit of digging and research.
If you were one of today’s lucky ten thousand to learn something new, I hope you keep doing it. I won’t be here to hold your hand through it, as I simply don’t have the time nor spoons for it, so I implore you to go down your own rabbit hole and chase knowledge with wild abandon.
i think art accessories should be free forever and for everyone like, everyone. art should be accessible and not behind paywalls.
