you guys remember the cargo ship with weapons and supplies for israel that protesters delayed from departing the port of oakland a couple days ago? it’s now in tacoma, washington and the protesters there have kept the ship docked for over 12 hours now.

there is also currently groups of indigenous americans on canoes physically blocking the ship from leaving.

it’s fucking incredible activism but course this won’t get even an ounce of the media coverage it deserves.

People always try to criticize Duchess Satine Kryze for being a pacifist Mandalorian. They say she abandoned the "Mandalorian Way" or whatever. They clearly don't know enough true pacifists. Pacifists are angry pretty much all the time, just incandescent with righteous fury at the injustice perpetrated by the strong against the weak. Pacifism is a choice a person capable of great violence makes in the name of bringing about greater justice.

You think a woman from a warrior culture wasn't trained in every weapon Mandalorians could teach her? You think she couldn't throw down the gauntlet and brawl if she chose to do so? She was no coward. In many ways, she was the bravest Mandalorian ever, to be willing to turn her back on thousands of years of violence, thousands of years of being little more than the galaxy's hired attack dogs, and say "no. there's a better way." She stood for her ideals and her people to the very end, and if that's not the way of a true Mandalorian, I don't know what is.
