In the Bad Owl, a Harry Potter themed cafe Stella owned, everything seemed to be going good that day ; the place was packed, the customers were happy, her daughter was being her calmest self ever - if it weren’t for a woman who seemed to lash out on the young brunette over a wrong order. Stella took her insults calmly for a few minutes too long, until she finally had enough. “How can you think it’s okay to talk to people like this? Don’t you have parents?” the statement caused the woman’s anger to only increase, and naturally that drag other people’s attention. “Wow, you really are a bi- bad person,” she corrected herself considering she was in a presence of her daughter, and an audience.
Aidan cleared his throat. “Nothing I can do to help, is there, ma’am?” said Aidan stepping forward as he’d been one of the witnesses to the scene that had unfolded. He was still in his uniform for the fire department. Not a cop, people seemed to respect the authoritative nature. He looked at the other woman who had been lashing out against the worker. He never liked seeing people treat hard working people so badly. Although it might not be his place to intervene, sometimes a gentle reminder that people were in a public place made them think twice.
