it is genuinely concerning to me how many people on this website don't think hating on trans men is transphobic.
they'll say "omg look at these whiney transandrocunt theyfab birthday boys" and get surprised when you tell them that that's transphobic

A moment of silence for the trans men who, due to their assigned gender at birth, have been legally banned from speaking in public in areas under Taliban rule.
A moment of silence for the trans men who, due to their assigned gender at birth and religious backgrounds, have been taught that they are forbidden from being anything but broodmares to a man they may or may not consent to marriage or sex with.
A moment of silence for the trans men who died in childbirth from a pregnancy they may or may not have consented to.
A moment of silence for the trans men who dropped out of high school after getting pregnant.
A moment of silence for the trans men who only knew their desire for masculinity, but were beaten to death for it and told they were going to hell.
A moment of silence for the trans men who had their clitorises mutilated by female genital mutilation.
A moment of silence for the trans men who died without ever once getting to wear pants or cut their hair the way they wanted.
A moment of silence for the trans men who committed suicide rather than be seen as a woman anymore.
A moment of silence for the trans men who never were allowed to learn how to read.
A moment of silence for the trans men with perfectly treatable conditions who were allowed to die to avoid violating "modesty" rules.
A moment of silence for the trans men subjected to honor killings.
A moment of silence for the trans men who were murdered by abusive partners.
A moment of silence for the trans men who were subject to "hymen checks."
We remember all of you, past and present.
I freaking hate seeing queer creators that I enjoy and look up to (especially TRANSMASC/TRANS MEN creators!!) be so awful about trans men and mascs trying to talk about how we’re oppressed. Like it’s most definitely not “only trans women” who are being attacked right now.
T has /been/ a controlled substance. “ROGD” was aimed at “mutilated girls”. Do none of you remember the Irreversible Damage book. That Joanne Rowling specifically got mad at gender-neutral language regarding menstruation and periods and said that people transition because of “the allure of escaping womanhood”.
Do all of you think erasure = safety? And that we only are “accidentally” and “less importantly” hurt?
We are all shot at by the same gun, but you still turn the knife on the rest of your kin.
"what if someone regrets transitioning" if you are 18 or over in free country usa you can walk into any tattoo parlor and ask for a tattoo that will be on your body forever and ever and ever and they will give it to you with the understanding that if you dont like the result or you regret it later that's your fucking problem and not theirs
the amount of discourse in the lgbtq community actually pisses me off because literally people want us dead but youre arguing over whos the most oppressed 💀
it really is annoying as hell how someone will talk about how poor people can't avoid ethically dubious products because of how being poor works and then someone with a two story house in the suburbs will take that to mean they can order harry potter books through a drone delivery from amazon and if you criticize that you're a bigot
Being transmasculine is odd cus on one end of the spectrum everyone is telling you that you're privileged and evil and basically just a cis man (even if you're nonpassing), and on the other end you're watching your brothers being raped and murdered and buried under their dead names while being falsely listed as a femicide. (this faulty documention will be wielded as proof of your privilege)
Let's say I really wanted to reduce the number of children who die in car accidents. Car accidents are really bad, right? Nobody disagrees about that. And it would be much better for both the environment and the kids' health if they spent more time walking, or taking the bus. Perfectly reasonable. More cars off the road, safer roads, fewer kids getting hurt, healthier kids. A win-win!
Therefore, let's ban children from traveling by car and require all cars to have a scanner on the door that scans the government ID of everyone who gets in the car to make sure no kids are in there. After all, kids get hurt in car accidents all the time! We need to ban this right away!
mom's minion memes for real justice
i posted these originally like 9 or 10 years ago or something but I can't find them anywhere, so now you get retortured.
Oh by the way if you use they/them for someone who has explicitly told you not to, it's still misgendering even if you think you're being woke about it
no one ever talks about how isolating being transmasc is. you're not "one of the girls and the gays" because you're not a girl and not seen as a guy enough to be gay. you kill the mood when you bring up how men Can get pregnant in real life when people make mpreg jokes. your old friends talk about how "nasty" men are and how they want to "kill all men". your queer acquaintance tells you that fujoshis are just perverts trying to fetishise gay men. cishetallo guys talk over you. cisgay guys talk over you. you go home and your parents toss out your masculine attires for you "daring to be a man".
like I don't even identify as transmasc anymore (is complicated) but back when i did, i would be so scared to come out as a trans man instead of nb because it would get me pushed out of friend groups and killed by my parents (which all eventually happened when the dam burst)
a vicious cycle
happy pride! if you tell cis passing masculine trans men that they "look like theyd hatecrime you" you owe every cis passing masculine trans man $200
various people about trans men: I hate you. because i hate men of course. there is a heavy overarching implication in my behavior that I would not treat you with this level of cruelty and scrutiny if you were a cis woman, but shouldn't you feel so validated right now? shouldn't you feel validated that I wouldn't treat you like shit if you hadn't transitioned? shouldn't you feel validated that I'm treating you like shit explicitly because of your identity?
