many of you just. genuinely donāt believe that people can grow and change.
this is about the death penalty and its also about call out posts about people who have already apologized for things they did a long time ago and itās also about using ātoxicā or āabuserā as if its an immutable class of person, and its also about any other circumstance with permanent consequences or wherein you assume someone is still the same person they were.
if your without and you put nuts on it I don't make the rules snowflake
TRUCK
was made nuts that truck is trans if you got a problem take it up with god
it's so funny and sad how jean thinks he's this unloveable thing meanwhile he's like the people's princess of the aftg universe. he won cat and laila over immediately and the rest of the trojans are completely obsessed with him. neil, kevin, and renee care about him so much and would do anything for him. andrew begrudgingly respects him and took his heavy-handed advice. thea calls him her little duckling. oh and jeremy knox is head-over-heels in love with him. he really is just that loveable
companies make billions from you thinking you're ugly btw. only ugly thing is their bottom line. log out of tiktok right now.
learning to ask 'is this an ad' will save your life
"guys i just got this new" itās an ad
"let me show you what i just bought from" itās an ad
"how am i just now discovering" itās an ad
robin waking up the day after the battle of '85 and remembering everything in terrible awful flashes but the thing that sends her running is that she came out to steve and now she's at his front door panicking cause what if he realized what she told him and he knows how terrible she is now, how wrong she is? the door opens and steve's first words to her are "oh my god robin are you okay?" and somehow she knows that eveyrthing's gonna be okay
Fuck it, post lamb stew slow cooker recipe

the unfathomable power of bay leaf
"For years Black parents believed that getting our children into better schools and neighborhoods was the surest path to opportunity. But now many of us are wondering: what does it cost to be the only Black child in the room?
Look, our kids being in predominantly white spaces can open doors. Thereās no question about that. But we must understand that there is an underside to those opportunities. The question many parents should be asking isnāt just what our children gain from these spaces, but also what they might lose if we arenāt intentional about keeping them grounded in their own culture.
Letās face facts. When we talk about raising Black kids in predominantly white spaces, we usually focus on academics and future opportunities. What we also need to discuss is what constantly being āthe only oneā does to a childās sense of identity.
Research shows us that Black children as young as 10 are viewed as older and less innocent than white children. (10! They are only babies.) That means many of our kids learn early that they have to think about how theyāre perceived in ways their classmates who need sunblock 3000 to go outside in the summer never do. They become experts at managing how the present themselves to others before they are even old enough to understand why.
But there is another, greater danger. And itās something much quieter that you might not know is happening before itās too late."
Article HERE
Because I've been asked about it, Imma share this article that came across my dash. šš¾
I feel like I keep ruining lighthearted jokes by knowing too much about the various safety and human rights violations that various companies commit.
"Straight people just like to say gay people are evil because we're putting their children to work in the glitter mines."
No actually, that's makeup companies. Micah powder.
"You hear about that lady who sued McDonalds because her coffee was too hot? People are rediculous."
Yeah, it spilled and gave her second and third degree burns. And permanent tissue damage on both legs, and her genitals. Do the words 'fused labia' mean anything to you?
"I mean at least AI companies are being indiscrimate with destroying the enviornment. They just don't give a shit who they hurt."
...no, actually. They're dumping wastewater and toxic pollutants primarily in majority-black residential areas. And like, while it's difficult to fully prove intent... Like, it really isn't. Remember Love Canal? Remember Dupont? This is a story as old as time.
"At least union wages are pretty good at this point, so just join one."
They are trying so hard to eradicate unions. They want to work you to death. Please, for the love of fuck, look up the battle of Blair Mountain. That was not unusual.
"At least companies care about fire safety, since it would damage their stuff and employees if they neglected that."
I need you to google the words 'Triangle shirtwaist fire'.
"lol, Google's finally getting slapped with an anti-trust lawsuit."
Good. But you know it's not going to work, right? We saw how this worked with oil companies. They're just going to 'split' into a couple of different companies, and then 'work collaboratively' to keep driving their competitors out of business. Anti-trust laws would need to be a lot stronger for this to work.
I feel like such a killjoy. But I also don't think I'm wrong? God, I'm so tired.
Me: I don't know. I just don't think there's much comedic potential to the idea of a "pizza samurai"
PIzza Samurai, entering physical existence due to the sheer willpower which I still spend thinking about him: I will defeat you with my New York Style martial arts PepperÅnin, also real now: Prepare to get sliced
spill for me, Muse, the wine-dark tea on a problematic man
I don't have time for tumblr discourse they're calling the very hungry caterpillar degenerate art over on twitter
good art is when something looks like real life, the more real it looks the more better the art. abstracted figures give my trad children nightmares, one time they were exposed to cubism and couldn't go outside for a week
