Is it just me or could anyone else see Sam and Jay being a childfree couple? I just can't really picture them ever having a kid. And their hands are pretty full with the ghosts already!

The way I see them:

Connor – gay and possibly greyromantic or demiromantic (only ever really liked Luke in terms of real-life people and not fictional characters)

Luke and Hanna – bi 4 bi

Gabby – lesbian (although pan could be a possibility too. It's just not what I initially thought for her since I never noticed the helmet.)

Jai – tbh I think Jai might be the one straight person in the group but I would have to rewatch to get a better sense of that. I think it's nice to have one ally in the group 😊

(I also want to mention that the showrunner said something about how Connor actually hates wrestling and only joined because his dad made him.)

Also, I think it's unlikely that Mike would just make random romantic pairings out of nowhere, so he was probably inspired by what was happening in real life. (Mike being a shipper/fanfic writer is hilarious though and would make him a way more likeable character.)

I almost wasn't going to watch season 2 of Wednesday, but I'm so glad I did! I liked it more than season 1!

Agnes is an awesome new character, and I liked how they developed Ajax. (I was just sort of indifferent towards him in season 1.)

It also seemed like there were more hints about Wednesday being romance repulsed/aro spec.

I'm not a fan of love triangles being resolved by killing off one of the options. I think it would've been a more interesting dilemma for Mike if Eleven was still around, and Mike had to grapple with his feelings for both Eleven and Will.

This might surprise some people but I actually liked Maddie and Caitlyn as a couple. Caitlyn is more serious, and Maddie is more upbeat, so I think they would've balanced each other out really well and could've had a nice complementary dynamic.

I feel like if Gwen hadn’t been a villain and had been Will’s age, he would’ve just gone on dating her happily and wouldn’t have considered Layla in a romantic way. Will and Layla grew up together so it would’ve been understandable if he just saw her as a sister.

Something I’m not a fan of with love triangles is when one of the two options either turns out to be villainous, or ends up being killed. It feels like a lazy way to resolve the triangle because there’s no choice to be made anymore. The betrayals and deaths disqualify them from being a candidate, and the remaining option is victorious by default.

Thankfully, I can’t think of too many instances where this happened, probably because I tend to shy away from stories with love triangles to begin with.

Shadow is pretty young!?

For some reason, in the movie universe, I originally thought that Shadow was like 16-18 years old (not including the time that he was asleep/frozen.) However, I realized that the actress for Maria was like 13 at the time of filming. And the more I think about it, the more I feel like Shadow was meant to be close to her age? Based on Shadow's demeanor, though, I just get the impression of him being in his older teens. So I'm honestly not sure what to think anymore.

Possibly:

Tails – 12-13 Sonic – 14-15

Maria – 13 Shadow – 15 Knuckles – 16

(I also originally thought Knuckles was 16-18 like Shadow.)

Princess x Monster

“The Legend of Shadow High” by Shannon Hale actually made me ship Apple White x Frankie Stein from Ever After High and Monster High.  I love how their relationship progressed in the book and I love the concept of a Princess x Monster pairing.

I wish I felt more strongly about Apple x Darling but they barely even had an actual conversation, so it's hard for me to get behind that ship when Apple had more significant interactions with other people.
