"Lovley, I wont' be gone for long. I promise to come back in one piece", Loki said while caressing your cheek, leaning in to steal a kiss from you. You grinned a little and looked him in the eyes. "You better come home safe! I won't accept anything else!" After saying your goodbyes Loki travelled with Thor though the Biefröst.
You really loved this man with a burning passion and never felt like you could stop this. Loki, of course, isn't from earth and never really understood how human electronics worked he still thinks the fridge is some type of magical device.
One day, after you started dating, he asked you what this weird device was that was vibrating all the time as making weird noises when getting things called "messages". You explained to him what a smartphone was and taught him the basics. It was also a nice alternative to contact each other when he was on a mission with Thor for SHIELD, that were on earth nearly every time.
Because you love being nostalgic you screenshotted your chats and printed them in so you could put them in a folder and re-read them when you missed him. Just like now. The typos he made and the shaky and blurred pictures he sent made you feel like it was just yesterday when you received them.
A couple of days later you got a message "Sunshine, I will be home soon. I hope to see you there too!" You smiled and rushed home from grocery shopping. Arriving there, Loki already sat on the bed looking through the binder you left on it on accident.
"How... how did you manage to do this...? What kind of magic allows you to do this", he asked amazed by the screenshots he was reading. You giggled, kissed him quickly and then replied to his ridiculously cute question. "This magic is called screenshot and it captures whatever your screen is showing you at the time. And the magical printer prints them out when I want it." You hust had to giggle as you saw him being fascinated by such a small thing.
He turned to the first page. The first screenshots and the first chat the two of you had.
"Hey! Figured it out now?"
"You forgot to hit space"
"Butspaceistoobigtohit. Alsoyoucanthitspace"
"Silly, I mean in the keyboard. The wide key at the bottom"
"I guess i figured this out now"
"Great! How are you? Arrived safely at the SHIELD headquarters?"
"Yes. Thor is being annoying again. And the others look at me in supition"
"I guess you mean suspicion?"
"Well, I did too when I saw you for the first time. You have this aura..."
"This... I can't describe it but you have it!"
"Okay take care! I love you, Loki!"
"I wrote like this...?" - "Yes", you giggled, "you had no clue what you were doing, right?" He shook his head and kept reading. The more he read through the messages the more he began to relax and realize that you always supported and lives him, yet he only noticed it a while ago. When he finished reading he kissed you shortly and gave you a warm smile.
"You really were a huge... what is this word again... dorg? Dorak?" - "You mean dork?" - "Exactly, a dork. But you also melted my heart little by little. I am in your debt for this." You pulled him on the shirt he changed into and layed down with him, hugging him tightly. "You are very welcome, my lovely frost giant~", You said softly with a fond smile. "I will always love you"
