I’m not a huge fan of fic that portrays Ed as having a bad poker face or being flustered all the time and stuff. Like I’ll buy that he has a hard time deceiving the people close to him, or lying effectively when he’s caught off guard, but this bitch is a scammer at heart. HOW could you all forget the scams this absolute legend has pulled before your very eyes? In ALL versions of FMA? Cornell at Liore? Kimblee at Briggs? Legitimately the entire town of Youswell??? Begging those guards for help on the promised day and then beating their asses with glee? Keep your stuttering faultlessly honest Ed AWAY from me. My real son is an utter FRAUD
