Learning tengwar and illumination so of course my first large piece was the first page of The Official Post-Coital Satisfaction for the Private Analysis and Edification of Lord Maedhros Fëanorion.

I have no regrets.

For the illumination of course there is the Fëanorian star, there are three stars for the Silmaril in his name, the interlocked branches of the now lost Trees and I am most proud of the border. The turbulent water the Fëanorians crossed and the first sunrise. I like to think this style was originally the light of the ships burning but it was replaced with the sun after Maedhros was rescued.

When several folks in the @leaf-and-lore discord server began joking that Maedhros would make his lovers fill out a post-sex questionnaire, I (who has never known when to quit) took it upon myself to write the whole survey in Google Forms. People submitted such clever, creative, and hilarious responses that we decided to share them for @silmarillionepistolary Silmarillion Epistolary Week Day 4: Friendship, Alliance, Bookkeeping, because, well, Maedhros has several "friends," he's definitely trying to make some alliances, and what is an archive of sex survey responses if not a form of bookkeeping? @onereyofstarlight coded a Google Forms workskin, @justdrowthings started calligraphing in Tengwar, and I should probably never be trusted around Google Forms again.

Thank you Ziz for being such a delight to work with and a marvelously talented artist! Truly this is my birthday in May. Everyone look at Lalwen and Anaire!!
