Okay so, I’m almost done with the Phantom Lord arc, I’ll be done tomorrow, but you have the flashbacks of Natsu joining the guild while watching the guild hall get destroyed which is super sad or whatever, I was crying, and I know the point of the flashbacks is to show us that his motivation for the arc is that he doesn’t want to lose Lucy because he already lost Lissana, but it’s funny to me because it’s framed in a way that suggests that she replaced her in his life ??????

Like, I was super excited about some writing prep work I was doing and shared the chapter 1 outline with my sister and some friends and no one responded except my sister to tell me "it's not how she would've done it" and then ignored all my other messages

I don't mean to be doing any sad boy posting today, but whenever I get excited and try to talk to friends and family, it always feels like talking to a rock and I always seem to leave sad and dejected

A proto design for a side character in a Fantasy story I'm working on, he's meant to be a Beast Tamer. I'm not entirely sold on the design right now, but I think it works as a good baseline, might need to figure out what the beast might look like first to really put it all together
