The fact that in DotO there is canonically a book that is nothing but corny and (very) poorly disguised corvosider erotica is funny enough on its own, but the fact that it's an actual retelling of Corvo's marking scene from the first game makes me think that it must have been written by one of the only two people present at the time (probably the Outsider because this sounds exactly like something he'd do).

Which is. Probably just about the funniest way to imply that we've moved past the "the inherent and probably accidental erotic undertone of branding someone with your name" stage and straight into the realm of "the Outsider writes explicit fanfiction about himself and Corvo, probably doing the Void-dweller equivalent of giggling while kicking his legs all the while".
