Mood cause i feel like new avenger Yelena is haunted not by the black widow or the avenger but rather the little Natasha from Ohio. The little Natasha that no avenger, not even clint ever knew.

Mood cause maybe new avenger Bucky is not haunted by the Captain America or the Steve Rogers who woke up in the 20th century from the ice but rather the skinny,small but brave Steve that he once knew in the 1940s. The Steve Rogers that no one,not Sam,not Natasha ever knew. Heck, the kid steve that maybe even peggy never knew.

The Thunderbolts* movie is special to me in the sense that it brought back the magic of early Avengers movies.

I will never say that Marvel fell off after Endgame. But it is true they have given us some very flawed projects. But there were also many amazing and perfect projects like Wandavison, Loki, guardians of the galaxy 3 etc.

There were also many projects that were fun to watch but not very special.

And then there some movies where they just didn't really make sense?? A lot of the time it felt like Marvel was gravitating very heavily on the comedy and nostalgia baits. Like yeah the movies were fun to watch but that's IT. There's just no impact or the plot is just forgettable most of the time.

So even if Thunderbolts didn't make a profit. The amount of fan interaction and content that im seeing now after 6 months is Amazing.

And most of these are new characters who were either forgotten (Ava) or straight up hated( John).

So, it's safe to say even after so many months the fact that Thunderbolts is still trending for the mcu fans makes me so happy.

The fact that Jake schrier managed to make so many people fall in love with several new characters after just ONE movie is fricking amazing.

From what I've seen people don't just like these new characters for the sake of liking them . They relate to them and empathize with them. I mean the way people talk about these characters you'd think that they've been heroes in the MCU for quite a while or something but no. They weren't even heroes up until the third act of the movie.

Jake Schrier and the actors deserve to be applauded for what they've done with this movie.

One of the things I've seen people complain about Yelena's character is that she's too different from Natasha like she's not really seductive or bombshell double agent type like the black widow we've seen. But I think it's on purpose.

Yelena and Natasha's styles are complete opposites of each other. Like this scene

Yelena in the first frame looks like she's an innocent victim who's pleading for her life and in the next second she stabs her opponent and the moment she gets the upper hand her facial expression completely changes. She's wearing a look of triumph and she's kinda smug.

My personal head canon this is the exact tactic she uses everywhere. She's not really the hot, sexy type her look is the sort of younger, wide eyed, innocent girl type. And she's aware of this and she uses it to her full advantage with enemies in the field to garner pity or with men to deceive them.

Meanwhile Natasha has always used her sort of sexy seduction as a technique both in and out of the field. It's her strong point and she uses it efficiently.

I think that's how the red room grooms these girls. Probably all the girls have their own techniques that the red room has trained them on.
