“Clearly you don’t know how to properly eat tacos.” Evan clicked his tongue at her, shaking his head and looking highly disappointed, though it was all a joke. He grinned cheerfully as he followed her out the door with a bounce in his step. “Hey now, I didn’t call you rude, I just told you not to be. But you were being rude. I’m going to need some doughnuts to sooth my battered heart.”
“Don’t test me, boy.” Lavender joked as she pulled out her car eyes, her car lighting up as she pressed the button to unlock it. “It’s in your best interest not to call the person who’s about to buy you doughnuts rude. You might find yourself doughnut-less as a result.”
