Phoenix still felt terrible for what he said to Miles the other night.
He never meant it in any mean spirited way but he also didn’t mean to come off as bully.
I just meant the look he made was adorable
Still he knew he had to make it up to the prosecutor. So he went to the local flower shop and, after much research, had an apology bouquet made, paid for, and delivered to the prosecutor’s office.
The pianist knew he’d be going without food for a few days because of it but he wasn’t going to let his daughter starve just because he wanted to keep his friendship with Miles. Only his food money was spent on the bouquet, Trucy would be fine.
Miles was surprised to say the least when he opened his door to the office the next day, seeing the flowers atop his table. It was a beautiful bouquet, and a soft pink blush graced Miles features as he stepped closer to pick it up, admiring it before leaning in to take a whiff of the floral scent. It was rare for him to receive presents, much less flowers- and especially he couldn't recall being on any dates recently.
He placed them down again, heart thumping in his chest as he reached for the little note by then. It only said 'sorry' in Pheonixs messy scrawl, with his name signed underneath.
It made Miles cheeks bloom as dark as the bright pink flowers laced through the bouquet.
He set the card down, taking a mental note to buy a vase for it later before feeling around for his phone in his coat jacket and sending Pheonix a text.
