It just occurred to me that every major character in the Adminverse Kinitopet AU found a friend or companion of some sort. Even Erica found a dubious one in Lovebug.

Starlight Security Puppet: Eavesdrop. If she disagrees with what is being said, she will confront them about it. If she agrees with them, shes just gonna go away quietly and be sad.
Arlee Secco: She will consider this someone throwing down the gauntlet. This is a game now. A public roast-off. And Arlee plays to win.
Aria Secco: Hopes Arlee does not find out about this, or there will be casualties.

Clione: Has internalized that people don't find her likable, but is determined to Be Herself anyway. So tries to brush it off but actually ruminates a lot on what was said.
Drea: Only cares about what her loved ones think of her. Other peoples opinions don't matter to her much.

[This was unintentional! SSP's story and personality was formed significantly before the LAES Reboot.]
[But I will admit I did always see her as being a similar type of person to Terra (tsams version of Earth). Basically if Terra and Solar Flare somehow had a kid, someone like SSP would be the result.]

Her natural curiosity, tendency to burn through a lot of different hobbies and general affinity for metaphorically poking weird things she sees with sticks, means shes acquainted with a wide variety of unusual people.
She just generally prefers to do things herself if possible.

@mastemamothpriest I know you asked for a cliff-notes version of Drea's personality so I'll give you that (somewhat, I can't do summaries well) but I'm also dumping an extended infodump with Lot of Words under the cut because honestly what were you expecting? That being said you dont have to read the long version cuz its A Lot.

-AuDHD, the quiet introspective spacy daydreamer counterpart to Caineās more hyperactive and manic AuDHD

-Integrity matters a lot to her. Does not like being lied to
-Creative, good at coming up with ideas and thinking outside the box

Anyway, onto Drea's main Gimmick: The 50 Day Naps
Drea has a Glitched Avatar. The headset was put on her while she was asleep as a joke. This resulted in some bugs. One is that the game sort of seems to assume her default is āasleepā. Caine managed to tweak some things but the best he could do without worrying about ābreakingā her outright was 1 week of wakefulness for every 50 days asleep.
Honestly? Itās a better deal than Drea had on the outside. At least when sheās awake for that week she does not experience the utter fatigue that plagued her in her old body except for the first 5 hours and 7 minutes after she first wakes up after her 50 day nap, and the last 5 hours and 7 minutes before her week of wakefulness ends.
That being said, 50 day naps make it difficult to make friends with most people. And she has woken up to find people Gone. The concept of abstraction *terrifies* her and this fear is always hanging over her to some degree. She doesnāt talk to anyone about this, worried she will just cause anxiety in other people. Nothing more she hates than the idea that she could be causing people harm of any kind.

A lot of reasons actually!
1.The Sleep Problem.
Drea knows that you canāt form a bond with someone properly if you can only interact with them a week once every 50 days. And if you want to stay sane in the circus, you need friendships! But Drea figured out pretty quick that Caine does not experience relationships the way humans do. In that while he tends to be rather āout of sight, out of mindā with people, he also he doesnāt really experience relationship decay. The bond on his end pretty much retains its strength in the 50 day gap and its easy for both Drea and Caine to pick up where they left off.
2. Trying to alleviate Fear through understanding
At first, Caine really scared Drea. Heās an erratic AI that controls everything, and she has no idea what his priorities and guidelines are! So she talks to him to try and sus them out! Drea figures if she understands him better, sheāll feel less afraid of the power he holds over her.
3. Fascination
Drea is genuinely curious about Caine as someone who is pretty clearly a person but also very much not human. She wants to know how he thinks, how his mind works. She wants to get to know him because she finds him interesting! Also she has a lot of curiosity about the circus itself and has *so many*questions for Caine about that.
4. A Legacy
Drea genuinely does not expect to last as long as the average person in the circus before abstracting. She has quite a few diagnosed mental issues (including depression and anxiety) and does not consider herself mentally resilient.
Caine is likely going to outlast everybody. If she can befriend him enough to make him remember her even a little bit, if she can be a positive influence on him and teach him how to be better at understanding humansā¦ then maybe even if she doesnāt last she will at least leave behind a long-lasting positive impact.
5. Sympathy
Drea actually finds Caine decently easy to read once she understands heās a Person With Feelings. And from there she can see pretty easy just how *desperate* he is for positive validation. And Drea is an encourager by nature. Why not do something that is so easy and makes a person so happy? And Drea is someone who values Integrity, she wonāt just butter Caine up, she will purposefully look out for things she can say positive things about and *mean* them.
And that is what allows her to realizeā¦ Caine actually puts A Lot into the creation of his daily adventures. The story, the graphics, the environments, the npcs, the mechanics. And itās different every day!? Thatās so genuinely impressive! Like wow Caine you work really hard for us!
Also wow dude when was the last time someone hung out with you that wasnāt Bubble?
(also hmmm, Bubble are you like Caineās intrusive thoughts made manifest? Cuz the more I hang out with both of you the more it seems like it and frankly that concerns meā¦)
6. Power
Its not the goal, but it is a nice feeling to be liked a lot by someone in power. Reassuring too.
Once Drea has a firmly established friendship with Caine, she is well aware this comes with the risk of an abuse of power. Caine is shockingly easy to manipulate if you know how. Drea would never want to use somebody like that, or abuse that. Sheād hate herself for it.
But sometimes itās so hard to not ask Caine to Do Something about Jaxā¦ Or to ask for cool stuff for her room (oh but that would be so unfair to everyone else wouldnāt it, Drea? Try to be a good person for onceā¦)
7. Oh he jus like me fr
Despite Drea and Caine outwardly appearing also opposite in personality, Drea being an introvert with a low social battery and a considerate, calm demeanor and Caine being a manic, high energy extravert, they actually have a lot in common.
They are both highly creative individuals who are always full of ideas. They are both rather insecure about their likability to others. Both insecure about what they are āsupposedā to be (Drea being āa good personā and Caine being āgood at adventuresā). Both march to the beat of their own drum, and both are rather lonely and isolated people. Both are prone to fixating and obsessing over things.
Both have a somewhat condrictary āself-centered but caring deeply about othersā type of nature. Both are very AuDHD.
And Drea can become jarringly high energy and talkative if sheās excited about something or if engaged in conversation topics that deeply interest her, almost matching Caine in energy in such moments. Listening to those two have a Conversation about something they are both interested in is frankly extordinarily overwhelming and others would do well to vacate the vicinity for the sake of their sanity.
The major difference is Drea is a lot more self-aware of her own nature than Caine, and is skilled in understanding and reading people. She also knows how to Listen as well as Talk. However Caine genuinely is significantly more determined by nature than Drea is, and quite frankly a much harder worker. Drea has a lazy streak.
8. He's funny and endearing. Silly funny teeth man.
1) every time I see something like this, or photos of wild unrealistic landscapes that really exist, or spectacular architecture, whatever it is, I think again that when we write fantasy, we NERF REALITY. That is, here's some dude with a special interest and a brain that somehow lacks basic self preservation mechanisms, and he's out here looking like a super hero. Regular humans are capable of things we seem super human. Real landscapes are more fantastical than our fantasies. Reality is more fantastical than our fantasies.
2) how the fuck did he not kick out any windows that's the most impressive part of the whole video.
So as someone who used to teach parkour back in the day, this dude isnāt just talented. His technique is amazing.
Itās not just about not kicking out windows. Controlling how you land is about shock absorption, about minimizing the strain on your joints. It also makes you quieter when you move. A good landing should be as silent as possible, because loud landings hurt. Thatās the foundation of everything else you do in parkour. So by the time youāre climbing buildings, if youāre breaking windows it means you donāt have enough control to land safely and itās time to go back to your ground basics.
