so you’re telling me lestats stutter started after gabriella took him to see a witch burning. and he was only able to overcome it twenty years later after he managed to escape his house in the auvergne and found nicki and a community of people he cared about. and then his stutter comes back when gabriella visits him again in the present timeline? yeah just checking. that’s fine

after two seasons of daniel being a dangerous player in the interview and outsmarting two powerful vampires with his wit, it’s kind of fascinating to see him so out of his depth now. he knows ball but he’s never played against lestat. he’s never met someone more stubborn than him, and on top of that he’s a baby vampire now! and lestat is using his inexperience and vulnerability to his advantage, beating him at his favorite game. how ironic it is to feel weaker now that you’re immortal than when you were dying

i've been thinking a lot about louis and lestat and wanted to ramble a bit

people love to act like lestat getting upset about louis fooling around with someone else is so awful of him because he had antoinette

but, you fail to remember that louis stopped having sex with lestat and that's why lestat started pursuing and sleeping with antoinette in the first place. and louis knew they were a thing, and he was okay with it. because louis treated him like a monster and wouldn't share his love with him and stopped having sex with him. for 7 years.

so after years of louis not sleeping with lestat, louis asks if he can see other people too and lestat says yes of course while obviously upset with the idea. he doesn't want to lose louis.

and louis asks lestat "aren't i enough?" and lestat laughs in his face. wouldn't you if you weren't even good enough for the person you're standing in front of and they ask you if they are good enough for you? after making you feel not good enough for years?

and louis having the nerve to call lestat a creeper for watching from a distance. mind you louis has not done anything with him in years. of course he's fucking jealous! of course lestat is gonna freak out over louis' heart racing for another man! he hasn't heard his heart do that for him in probably like a decade or longer

and then louis had the nerve to also say that lestat took his life. as if lestat did not ask permission first, which is less than his own maker did for him. mind you, lestat could literally read his mind at the time. lestat had his own trauma with being turned, im pretty sure he would not have done that to another person which is why he literally asked for permission. louis wanted to be with him. but as i've said in other ramblings, louis was very very much attached to his humanity. it always drove a wedge between them, louis never accepting he was a monster prior to being turned which was the whole thing that drew lestat to him

also don't think of me as a person who hates louis and worships lestat. i love everyone in this damn show they're all evil as hell. but this is one thing i completely understand lestat's reaction lol id also flip out if that happened to me

what if your situationship asked you to be his lawyer because a rockstar trashed his tacky hotel and requested to meet him but he lied and set the meeting up himself because the rockstar is his ex that he wrote a book about insulting him page after page after page and he wanted to ragebait him into talking to him and get yelled at in french
