hosies never fail to make me laugh when they use lizzie wanting to kill hope as some sort of gotcha moment for hizzies. do they know that some people enjoy it? that we enjoy the angst? that lizzie hating hope inevitably means theyre going to make up again? that hope will probably grovel at lizzies feet for betraying her like that? all this angsty build up means is a better reunion. its also very odd that so many fans (mostly die hard hope fans and hosies) really cant understand why lizzie is so angry. does lizzie know alaric has been a bad father? yes! but she loves him to a fault and she’s incredibly loyal to a fault too. especially to her father who she is always seeking validation from. can you imagine your best friend going from being your hero, the person who is willing to do the thing they avoided their whole life just to save the world because theyre just that selfless, to someone who literally puts their father in the hospital and turned off all their emotions? like imagine how jarring that was for lizzie to witness. so if you cant understand how betrayed lizzie feels by hope, then ur weird!

I've definitely said this before but it is really frustrating how Lizzie is constantly demonized for things Josie would absolutely (and sometimes has) get away with. Like Lizzie gets treated like she's evil and so selfish for any little thing while Josie is held up as this perfect person who has no faults and is so much better than Lizzie. And the fans do this more than anything, but the show itself is absolutely also guilty of this and it's just really frustrating.

Also, Josie stans saying things about how Lizzie stans will defend Finch but Finch hates Lizzie? It's so stupid. Like if Finch does hate Lizzie, why do you think that is? Because I guarantee she's heard bad things about Lizzie from Josie, but also Finch has also said nice things about Lizzie from time to time AND she literally is justified in disliking Lizzie considering Lizzie forced her to relive serious trauma. There is an important difference between Finch and Penelope, though, in that Finch isn't constantly demonizing Lizzie and trying to make her feel worse because of her point of view. People can dislike someone for any reason, it's just not okay to treat them badly because of it for no real reason, and Finch doesn't do that. Plus, the idea that you can't like or defend a character because said character dislikes another character you like more doesn't make any sense. Even if someone dislikes Finch for what she's said about Lizzie, that doesn't change the fact that Josie fans unfairly villainize her for every little thing she does (and doesn't do.)

So most of the Legacies fandom is hating on Lizzie and slandering her for trying and wanting to kill Hope. But still will go to great lengths to defend Hope and Josie actually committing murder because either its 'it was dark josie' or 'Hope's humanity was off'

I will say this once, I will say it a million more times to get people to listen. Josie herself had said and was willing to take accountability for murdering Alyssa and Lizzie, setting the school on fire, and such. Even Kaylee said that Dark Josie is Josie.

And on to Hope, she still has control over her actions. She just doesn't care what she does, she doesn't care about the consequences of whatever she does. Her humanity is off, it's not like she's possessed.

Yall are willing to slander Lizzie for something she hasn't even done and has been considering it but will worship Josie and Hope for actually committing horrible acts. So who's the hypocrite now?
