glitter: describe someone special to you.

Well, of course, that would be Vivienne, my roommate, and all-around best gal pal of the century. She is so smart and so beautiful, the girl is an absolute shark in the courtroom yet has such a big heart once she warms up to you...even if it takes all year.

wine: what kind of drunk are you (happy/affectionate, angry, sad, fun/wild)? if you don’t drink, what kind do you think you WOULD be?

Oh I’m apparently a very flirty and happy drunk, it’s just me turned up to a full 100. 

sheet mask: what’s your favorite lazy activity?

I love laying around in bed in my favorite pajama set with Bruiser watching soap operas, on the off chance I have time for lazy downtime.

pearls: what’s something about your personality that surprises others?

I would say that I can be a little serious at times, people see me often as blonde airhead who just floats around in a dreamland, but I know when things need to be serious even if certain people never seemed to believe that about me.

perfume: if you could make your own signature fragrance, what would it smell like?

Oh boy, probably a floral scent....something with lilacs and a slightly sweet note is hidden underneath, I love lighter smelling perfumes for the day and more...slightly spicy ones for the night time if you catch my drift.

robe: how do you prepare for an evening alone with a loved one/date?

If this is date wise, I usually have a whole routine. A trip to my esthetician, shopping for a nice outfit for the occasion, a blowout at the local blowout bar, getting my nails done obviously, I have to look perfect for the night or else I just don’t feel right.

faux fur: describe your wardrobe.

“i feel like i have two different wardrobes, you have the work one with is a lot of two pieces. pantsuits, pencil skirts and blazers. i don’t do black, unless someone died, so it’s typically lighter colors. pinks (duh), whites, maybe a yellow if i’m trying to be exceptionally cheery, and if i have to be boring i’ll do either a light grey or a heather grey. now, if we talking non-work clothes...baby, there’s a separate closet for all of those. but the highlights would probably be: sundresses, super cute blouses with nice prints, i could go on for hours on clothes so i’m just going to quit while i’m ahead.”

jazz: name a song that resonates with you and your emotions. explain the reason why.

“oh for sure right now, it’s good as hell by lizzo. something about that song just makes me feel so happy, if it was out when i was in law school i would’ve probably blasted it from the rooftop of the buildings. it just reminds you to focus on yourself and all the bad stuff that’s happened in your past, and remember that you’re doing so much better.”

satin: what is your most favorite article of clothing?

“it would have to be a tie between my delta nu tank top from when i was president, it even has pres. elle woods on the back in rhinestones. or my prada heels, because those make my legs look killer.”

           MILO LEANED FORWARD, elbows on the bartop, as he waited for the blonde’s answer. he had his head tilted a bit, turned so he could face her, when she spoke up again. “ you became a lawyer… because of love ? “, milo wondered, not immediately seeing the connection there. he was quite intrigued, though, to find out the story behind that. taking a sip from his beer as she continued, again. “ yeah… love hasn’t been my best friend either, i guess. “, he mumbled, shaking his head as he turned away from her. “ but, i know it exists. “.

BRINGING HER DRINK to her perfectly glossed lips, she let out a sigh, “well, i thought it was love...i dated a guy who went to law school, he broke up with me right before he left because he thought i wasn’t smart or serious enough so i basically went to prove him wrong. and yet, he still didn’t believe in me. but, i became one hell of a lawyer and he never got hired at any firms meanwhile....” she motioned to herself proudly, letting out a small laugh, “i’m working for the best one in london.” elle explained before sighing, she wasn’t a sad drunk, if anything she was more cheery than usual, “love is a cruel temptress...but yeah, i was just seeing if any other believers were still out there.”

    riff looked at her for a long moment before, slowly, a large hand flew to his lip to find that there was, in fact, blood. “ oh shit, ” he exclaimed with a roll of his eyes. “ i’m literally fine, so fine, a split lip is nothing trust me, ” the man laughed, allowing her to take him to the bathroom, extending his arm to take the paper towels with a boyish reluctance. “ thanks, elle. ”

IT WAS IN HER nature to worry about others, constantly looking out for those around her, almost in a motherly sense sometimes even if she could be perceived as childish. sighing as she watched him take the wet paper towels, she pouted a bit as she crossed her arms over her chest, “a split lip isn’t nothing, it’s something, you’re bleeding riff.” elle reminded him, moving to fix his hair which was also a god awful mess. “you aren’t in any trouble, right?”

           “ oh god, ” riff exclaimed, embarrassment rifling within his tone, breathless as he leaned over. “ elle, thank god it’s only you, ” he commented. he may or may not have been in a fight, hence why he and the boys had split quickly and he found himself here, in a small, sweaty frenzy. 

AS SHE REACHED OUT to help him up, she realized that he seemed out of breath, sweating with something on his face, “is that blood on your lip? are you alright??” elle asked, a little worried as she lightly grabbed him by the arm to bring him to the closest unisex bathroom as she grabbed some paper towels and wet with before he could protest. “did you hit that door that hard or should i be worried?”

vivienne was glad that elle was distracting herself with work.  eventually the blonde would need to get back into the dating pool, but until then, focusing on work would be a good thing.  unfortunately, when elle was focused, she could forget about herself.  ordering enough to get them to probably two am, viv smiled when she looked up from her own laptop to see elle walking into her room with the bags.  “are you saying they haven’t figured it out yet?”  vivienne knew she could have a bit of a tough shell and smiled, teasing elle a bit.  “i figured you’d forget.  hungry yet?”  but viv was already rising to grab them something to drink.

IT WAS IN HER TYPICAL fashion to throw herself into whatever she was doing, relationships, work, even shopping trips took pretty much all day for her. so now that she was relationship free for the first time in years, work was her main priority, but that meant drowning herself in it. “i don’t know what i would do without you.” elle said genuinely with that warm smile before nodding her head, letting out a heavy sigh to follow, “i think i’m all done for the night, my brain feels like mush.” she admitted as she tied her blonde locks up in a messy bun, padding across the floor of their apartment in her matching silky pajamas and fuzzy socks to match, all in her signature pink of course.

            MILO WASN’T A regular visitor of bars – he didn’t have a lot of friends around london anymore, and sitting by yourself at the bar was, well, kind of depressing. but tonight, the man had been invited for drinks by a co-worker and while he wasn’t exactly looking forward to it, he hadn’t seen any harm in it either. unfortunately, the guy called it off when milo had already arrived ( something with his daughter being sick, which milo fully understood ). since he was there anyways, he decided he could just as well get one drink before heading back home. sitting at the bar with a beer standing in front of him, milo had paid little to no attention to the people around him – until one woman in particular asked him a rather personal question. a frown appeared on his features as he turned his head to face her. “ i do. “, he replied – after all, he had loved and lost. but he knew what he’d felt was real and pure. “ i reckon you don’t ? “.

THERE WAS A TIME in her life when all elle did was chase love, she chased it constantly and fearlessly, but having been heartbroken back to back was more than even she could handle. it didn’t make her believe in it less, it only made her scared of it happening all over again. besides, focusing on work was what was important. “oh, i do...i do, if i didn’t i wouldn’t be a lawyer---” pausing, that probably didn’t make sense to a stranger so she shook her head, “anyways, i was just curious. me and love haven’t had the best track record in the past so, just wanted to see if there were any more believers out there.”

THE BLONDE KNEW what being sleep deprived looked like, the girl was a work horse herself, living off red bulls or else she would spiral into going crazy. so as she reached out and squeeze the person in front of her’s hand, she sighed “if you don’t get some sleep soon, you’ll make yourself sick.”

EVEN WITHOUT A FEW drinks in her system, elle was a social butterfly, so when she went out to a bar with some coworkers she was the life of the party. but it also meant she slipped away to mingle with the masses, after taking a few shots with her newfound friend, she sighed and propped her chin up on her hand, “ do you believe in love ?”

AS THE DAY CAME to a close, there was a knock on her door as she opened it to reveal an order for dinner, which she could only guess meant viv ordered them something to eat. lately, elle had been so bogged down with cases that she had gotten into the routine for missing meals. sighing with glee as she thanked the delivery man, she skipped into viv’s room as she wiggled the two bags in her direction, “once everyone figures out how wonderful you are they might want to steal your time away from me but that’s not happening.”

WORK HAD BEEN driving her downright insane, there was a case she was fighting tooth and nail to be a part of, and as she finally wrapped up for the day the blonde breathed a sigh of relief. walking out of the large building, she watched as someone slammed right into a door that was obviously a pull inside of a push, a small giggle leaving her lips as she glanced over, “even the way you fall on your face is cute. need help up?”

I sure hope so, I think that I’m a very loveable person with a big heart...but, right now, I’m really over the L word and am focusing on kicking law’s ass.

If you are speaking about Warner, I was a young, stupid girl who was attracted to something shiny....can you blame me? As much as I hate to give him any type of credit, he was confident and handsome, and without following him...I wouldn’t be the woman I am today. So he helped me find my way in a sense, and now I make more money than him so, who really is the one who lost?
