so we have our phone bill paid but we still have our rent to worry about, which is due today

since the phone bill hasn’t processed through my bank yet, it hadn’t reflected on my bank account but i used a calculator and i have 72 bucks left from it, meaning i need about 300 bucks give or take for rent

unfortunately i’m gonna have to make another donation post because i can’t get paid until next month at the earliest due to the school scholarship bullshit, sorry

thankfully it seems like i had this month’s rent halved (for about 300 bucks) due to the bullshit from their transferring me around dorms like when i was in foster care, but i also have my phone bill (180) and credit card payments (about 50 bucks minimum to both) to deal with too

it all comes to about 530 bucks and it’s all due at the end of the month (10 days) so uh

Hi!!! One of my parents got meningitis when I was a kid.

They were in the hospital for nearly a month, the rest of us were all placed in medical quarantine, there were several points we thought they were gonna die, and even though they survived, it was a SUPER close call and they lost about two years of memories from the ensuing brain damage.

Like… a two-uear-long cookie-cutter pocket of thoughts and memories went missing right out of their brain. It’s an inflammation of the brain that cooks it alive.

I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW THERE WAS A VACCINE.

I WILL BE GETTING IT.

i genuinely encourage non black people to engage with this, who might be worried they can't because of the word "nigga" because they feel like it's overstepping. the only way it would be overstepping is saying it to me when ur not black, but please don't be afraid to engage with black art.

i kinda get annoyed when non black people police other non blacks on how to engage with black culture because it creates a problem where non black people avoid us all together which can be extremely isolating and create even MORE tension and overall being uneducated.
