A little bit of an Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy appreciation blog and a lot of an Eddy appreciation blog. Mostly reblogs but I contribute something of my own every so often. Let me know if you need something tagged.

Okay, guys, so. I think this is gonna be it for me. I’ve taken hiatuses and pushed myself to post daily and done everything in between and I’m just. Not really feeling it anymore, y’know? I don’t love the show or Eddy any less-- I can’t even imagine that, haha-- but it feels like it’s time to step away.

I don’t have, like, a speech or anything like to make you guys pretend to sit through, don’t worry, lol. I just wanna say that I’ve had a ton of fun with this blog and I hope everyone else has too (and that anyone here from the ~future has fun looking through it too, natch).

Because I’m in the mood for silly headcanons: Who would be each Ed’s favrote character from Star Wars?

Eddy: Lando, no question

Edd: C-3PO, no question

Ed: Chewbacca, but I would accept alternatives for this one.

Yeees, I’m so glad the first response to this is in agreement with me about Eddy and Lando! I mean, come on, you know he’d be all about the wardrobe alone.

I’m torn between agreeing about Edd and Threepio and imagining Edd would hate Threepio to an inexplicable degree and get really pissy when Ed and Ed insist relentlessly, “He’s just a shiny version of you!”

Ed’s fav is Chewbacca and I accept no alternatives.

I think Edd’s conceited enough that he’d be drawn to the characters that remind him of him, so he’d take Ed and Eddy saying that (which they absolutely would) as a compliment. Plus the fact that he’s a robot that was made by a child will resonate with him so much. He’d probably try to make one haha. 

But yes the other two have been decided. It’s official.

I agree with Jenny so much on this lmao. But I also think Eddy would have love for Han because of the whole criminal getting his way thing, Ed would also probably love Jabba the Hut because of of his love of gross monsters, I can also see Edd liking Obi Wan a lot due to how Edd may think of himself as a wise teacher.

Han would be Eddy’s fav until Lando shows up but he’d have such a skewed idea of Han’s character. Thinking he’s exactly the smooth operator that he tries to sell himself as. Is shocked and appalled by people suggesting that he is anything less than that. I can see Eddy being one of the fans with an inexplicably high opinion of Boba Fett, too, lol. (Sorry, Eddy!)

Ed would be all over all the alien designs and especially Jabba, I agree! I am gonna just say also: I believe he would like Ewoks. I can’t back this up with anything in particular, I’m just set in this idea.

Obi Wan somehow did not even cross my mind for Edd but now you’ve said it and yes. Maaaybe Yoda also? I’m less sure of that one.

Oh, I don’t disagree at all about his conceitedness. My thing is that I wonder whether he would recognize himself in a character who exemplifies all his more negative personality traits while lacking his effectiveness in the field. Or, if he did, if he wouldn’t be resentful rather than find him relatable.

Ngl, I also just really love the thought of the other two irritating him by loudly lamenting, whenever he isn’t immediately available, “Double Dee-pio!! Oh, where can he be??”
